My venus fly trap is very happy in this soil mixture. I know carnivorous plants are very finicky with their soil, so I'm glad I found this option that has everything they needed all in one package. I noticed some other reviews weren't happy with the size for the price, but I have enough left over that I could plant another 2-3 small venus fly traps. So overall I'm very happy with my purchase!

I have had it for a while and my plants are so happy to have them!!! Moisture retention and soil quality are the best! The bag is very light. The price is kind of pricey for an 8-quarters bag. I definitely will buy it again.

It works OK but did have some weed seeds in it that grew after repotting our pitcher plant in it

I hated this stuff. Lots of small rocks and dusty dry dirt. You literally need to wear a mask as it tells you to do. Every scoop I took caused a dust cloud in my face. And of course my kitchen needed some serious cleaning afterward because the dust flew everywhere. I would have given it one star but I gave it the benefit of the doubt with 3 stars since I’ve yet to see how the plant will do in it. I do not recommend this product.

My honey dew and trumpet plant are thriving after 2 months of being planted in this potting mix.
