RELIABLE. Withstands quite a lot of force from my hand.
I have bought 6 or 7 similar folding tools in the last 2 years. Some I have given up, some have broken. This one turned out to be the best of them all.RELIABLE. Withstands quite a lot of force from my hand, from which other tools have broken. I especially liked the sharp saw and knife. They do their job perfectly. Of course, you should not try to cut down a tree in the garden, there are larger tools for that, but for home crafts, the saw is just great!Overall, I recommend it.

RUSH DEER Multi-Tool: A Handy Companion for Everyday Adventures
The RUSH DEER Multi-Tool is a compact powerhouse of functionality, packing 18 essential tools into a sleek and surprisingly sturdy design. It's definitely not your average keychain trinket - this bad boy is built for serious work. What I Loved:Solid build quality: This multi-tool feels substantial in hand. It's not flimsy or cheap; the materials are robust, and the tools are well-made.Lots of tools in a small package: You'd be surprised at how many tools are packed into this compact design. Everything from a wire cutter and a bottle opener to a saw and a screwdriver is included.Spring-loaded pliers: This is a game-changer for me. The pliers are strong, easy to use, and the spring-loaded action makes them a joy to work with.Great for work: I've used this tool for a variety of tasks around the house and on DIY projects, and it has never let me down. It's become my go-to tool for anything that needs a quick fix.Where It Falls Short:Mediocre scissors: The scissors are a bit of a disappointment. They're not sharp enough to cut through anything thick, and the little metal reset piece that helps open the blades tends to slip off, making it difficult to open them again. This is a bit frustrating, especially when you're in a hurry.Overall, I'd say the RUSH DEER Multi-Tool is a solid buy. It's a reliable, multi-functional tool that's perfect for everyday use. If you're looking for something that can handle a wide variety of tasks and fits comfortably in your pocket, this might be the perfect tool for you. However, if you are planning to use the scissors frequently, you might want to consider a multi-tool with a more robust scissor design.SEO Keywords: RUSH DEER Multi-Tool, 18-in-1 Multitool, Survival Tools, Plier Multitool, Multitool Review, Everyday Carry, EDC, Work Tool, DIY Tool, Compact Multitool, Quality Multitool

Great multi tool , Didn't get for free
I have a bunch of multi tools, and this one raits up there with the best of them. It's a little tight but the more I use it the better it is. Has all the necessary tools for everyday use. I would recommend this to anyone, quality, price and ease of use.

Getting down to the nitty-gritty
An often quoted idiom is that the devil is in the details and I think one can extend that thought to analysis of this 16-tool multitool from Rush Deer. There's much to like about this and their implementation of the various bits should be commended as most of them are very useful and easily accessible. They provided nice comfy handholds when configured to be used as a pair of pliers, and it seems to be quite sturdy in use. Kudos for the pliers being featured with a return spring mechanism. They also provide a range of external tools that can be access without having to flip open such as a nice flat blade, a serrated version, and a large pair of scissors.Said that, there are a few quibbles that should be mentioned. For some reason it seems to contain some bits of either metal shavings or micro abrasives lodged in a few inner cavities, such that one can feel some grittiness in the action when accessing either the can opener or the screwdrivers. In addition to that, if we were just to play with the tool in the open pliers position by smacking the jaws open and shut, the blades on the outside would start to release themselves from their home positions which I feel to be very disconcerting. This is worthy of a full star downgrade from a safety perspective as there should be a locking mechanism, similar to that seen on my SOG. It appears to only be a friction fitting and a loose one at that. To their credit, they do implement the same type of blade locking mechanism once opened as seen on Leatherman Wave tools so they did take inspiration from some good sources. Lastly, they mangled the laser etching of their own logo. In summary, it's a decent tool, but there are some caveats in use that prevents this from getting a top review score.

Excellent Leatherman alternative
The quality is not entirely comparable to a Leatherman but it is an excellent budget alternative EDC multi tool. Much better than the other alternatives.
