4K plyback is great.
Wasn't too hard to install. Took about 30 minutes. Hardest part was understanding the manual it came with. Watched several youtube videos but my 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid was never shown and my Android phone was not the same as manual showed. After install and driving I took out the micro SD card and put it in my laptop to view the videos and was pleased with the picture quality. The three VERY small LED light adjacent to the two buttons are not very easy to see and one does nothing. No good explanation in the manual. Looks very OEM. Haven't viewed night drive yet so unsure how the video will look. I can read the license plate of the cars in front of me at a stop sign. Audio playback is very good. I would have purchased the rear view system however the wire install required messing with the headliner and with the airbags in that area I said, NO.

Instructions/video questionable
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this for my 2024 Venza. Received it the other day and upon opening the box, I noticed the “Small tail cover” was attached to the camera unit. Was a real pain to disconnect it, they should’ve enclosed it separately. As far as that orange pry bar is concerned, worthless. Tried using it but not enough room to get the right leverage. Was able to pull off the entire cover by just pulling down at the tail cover, luckily nothing broke. Able to remove the orange tabs with the help of a small screwdriver and place them on the camera portion. Installing the power cable was very easy as well as installing the camera unit. Had to get a little creative pushing the cables in the unit and installed the tail cover (tight fit but it worked).Turned my car on (no sparks 😏), and it connected quick with the camera, and I customized the settings in the app. Took it for a test drive and the video was great. As others have said, it takes about 30 minutes to install and set up. I do like the fact that it appears OEM and no wires over and under my dash. If I’m ever in an accident, it will help in determining fault. If you’re handy at installing items like this, I do recommend.Note: A larger capacity micro SD card WILL NOT work with this camera. You must use the 128 GB card that comes with it.

it lacks GPS
Installation was very easy. I know several have complained about the image quality but the images I see are excellent. No problems connecting to my iPhone and it’s compatible with my dashcam viewer - a big plus. BUT it doesn’t have GPS. imagine a dachcam in 2024 that doesn’t have GPS - probably shouldn’t even call it a dashcam. I would have given it 5 stars but I removed 2 stars since it lacks this very important function.

Works Great.
At first I received a dud. The unit wouldn’t turn on, but customer service reached out to me, sent me a new unit, and it works great. Easy install, nice clarity, faster download than my Garmin Mini, and looks factory. Very nice.

Lucky to have installed this 2 weeks before someone rear-ended me.
Fantastic camera for the money! Quality is superb! Funny enough, we got rear-ended heading to church yesterday and we were able to pull the footage for both front and rear cameras which were excellent because it shows date/time on the lower right corner for accuracy when submitting the claim. One thing that is a bit different but is easy to get used to is accessing the camera via app, you need to use the camera WiFi but if you are using CarPlay wirelessly it can cause issues with logging into the camera via app. Suggest turning off connection via your infotainment and then turning on the WiFi for the camera to access and download any footage, then turn connection to infotainment back on your phone to access CarPlay. The good thing is the camera continues to roll regardless of being of being in the app or not.

Worthless, trouble connecting to WiFi and does not work when CarPlay is connected.
Install directions were awful. Having problems connecting to its wifi. Will not work when you are connected to CarPlay. Asked for help, no response. Don’t waste your time and money on this worthless device.
