Item just as described. Quick and easy to install and holds up the net curtains well

The pole is easy to extend to the required length but it sags down in a shallow, concave curve once the nets are on it. It may be necessary to attach a hook to keep the centre parallel to the recess. Update: This is the second of these rods that I have purchased. The first was opened by a kind young man working in my house. The second tube I had to deal with myself. The tube containing the rod is difficult to open because it has three, very thick staples attaching the lid to the tube. I don't do DIY so do not have tools suitable for dealing with the problem. I had to resort to using a pointed knife to get under the staples and then twist the knife to get the staple loose enough to pull out with a small pair of pliers. It's great to be secure, but when you are 80 with arthritic fingers, it's not a lot of fun trying to get them out. The rods are great, though.

Arrived well packaged in a strong tube. Nice item as described. It does the job. I have light nets on it so it's fine but I'd say if the nets are heavier it would need a centre support as it would bow a bit in the middle, depending on the length of the rod. Easy to install.
