About a year ago I made a commitment to eating healthier and it's changed my mornings completely. One of my go-to meals is organic multigrain seed bread with a fried or scrambled egg, sometimes topped with avocado, cheese, and ham. Simple, fast, clean, and satisfying. I came across the Hyvance Smart Egg Cooker and immediately had to try it. I already had a toaster at work, and adding this to my morning routine was a game changer. My mornings are genuinely happier now, and I'm not exaggerating. The cooker is intuitive right out of the box. The multiple cooking settings, Sunny Side Up, Over Easy, and Fully Cooked among others, give you real control over how your egg turns out without any guesswork. The non-stick coating does exactly what it promises, and cleanup takes less than a minute. That alone makes it worth it for a busy morning. Worth mentioning, I use it for scrambled eggs too even though it's marketed for fried eggs, and it handles them just as well. Don't let the name limit you. The auto power off and alarm features add a layer of convenience that makes this feel like a thoughtfully designed product, not just a novelty gadget. The round shape is compact enough to sit on a desk or counter without taking up much space, and the all black design looks clean and professional. The best endorsement I can give is this, I like it so much I bring it home on weekends because I'd rather use this than a pan now. Highly recommended for anyone trying to eat better without complicating their morning routine.

I took a chance on this little gem. I liked the concept, read the reviews, and the best part is it was on sale at the time. At the very worst, I took a chance on an appliance that didn't work for me, for the price of Mendocino Farms sandwich. Even my girlfriend thought I was wasting my money when I bought it. But... what a pleasant surprise! Not only does it make a beautifully cooked egg the way she likes it, I can confidently make it the same way each time! My girlfriend now concedes it was a great purchase, and I get a smile and a "Good boooooy!" from her every time! ;-) Now.... a couple things to be aware of just to help maximize your enjoyment of it: In the beginning, there was a slightly strange smell emanating from the unit, but don't freak out. Probably the smell of the unit's components heating up for the first time, I'm not sure. That will eventually go away. I've used this about 10 times now, so yea, the smell is gone. You need to experiment a bit with each setting. Don't take the setting descriptions as gospel, but as a helpful marker as to cooking time. For instance, the number one setting cooks the egg the least amount of time. If you leave it in the cooker too long after the timer dings, it will continue cooking the egg more. The cooker will still be hot and continue cooking the egg to a point. Also, if the unit is already hot because you "preheated it" or had already made one egg, it will alter the expected results at well. So, you will need to experiment a bit to dial in how it handles cooking and make some notes. Other than that, it's everything everyone else raves about it - compact, easy to use, easy to clean, egg comes out great. I was going to take a photo of the finished egg, but why? It would just look like the other photos already in the reviews. I love the spatula that comes with it. I would love to see them include an oil brush or clever oil dispenser as well, so I'm not always having to use a paper towel to spread out the cooking oil on the surface. Also, a dual unit would be awesome! But, when it's on sale, just buy two - or more. Ok, the unit just chimed - time for breakfast!

Bought this to help with making breakfast sandwiches. It works just as intended. I can put the egg in to cook without having to stand guard with it which gives me about 6-7 more minutes in an already rushed morning to do other tasks while it cooks. The cooked egg can be used with bagels, English muffins, biscuits. I have not had great luck with egg rings for cooking breakfast sandwich eggs so I really appreciate this little machine because of it’s simplicity. Small compact size also makes for easy storage.

Best item we have in the whole kitchen! This is fabulous. We even fill it with one egg and then add egg whites. Great little appliance for anyone that loves eggs. Super Easy to use! Super easy to clean up.

Makes a perfect fried egg, as others have mentioned, they should have a 2 egg model.... Seems to be well built, substantial weight and I like the beep when egg is done, cuz it will keep cooking if left in there. The reason for 4 stars is because of the cost, should be $20 cheaper...

This eggmaker is worth every dollar. Easy to use. Cook egg per your taste. Give me time to do other items for breakfast. Cook omelet also. Easy to clean. Only few drop of is sufficient. One can Cook without oil.

This little fried egg cooker is PERFECT for work!! It's small size allows you to store almost anywhere and you get PEERFECT eggs eveytime. Here at work we have a cafeteria that 1) doesnt open until 7am (I start my shift and 3am) and 2) they call "powdered egg" scrambled eggs...EW!! With this cooker I get the time of eggs I want and there is never a mess!! I share this with my co-workers...

I first laughed at the idea of spending $50 to buy a small machine which apparently cooks only 1 egg at time -- because I always like to have 2 eggs for breakfast and, also, because I have many other ways to cook them. But then I heard a food expert discussing the most nutritious way(s) of cooking eggs and realized that I'd been cooking eggs the wrong way for a long time because, apparently, eggs are most nutritious when cooked at low heat -- which is exactly how this machine cooks them. Since all my other ways of cooking eggs is by using high heat -- which apparently creates significantly less nutritious eggs -- I decided to try this "low heat" egg cooker and ... WOW!! What a huge difference it makes!! First of all, I noticed that my eggs don't taste 'rubbery" or "burnt" anymore -- this machine make them always turn out the same -- they look and taste better, regardless of which method I use to cook them with this machine AND -- I discovered that I can fit and cook 2 "extra large" eggs at a time into this machine -- To cook them properly, I just combine this machine's different features -- For example: To cook 2 "easy over" eggs at once, I either use Feature #4 on its own or to make the yolks a little runnier, I use Feature #1 and, once it beeps, I leave the eggs in the machine, unplug it for a second, plug it back it and then use Feature #2 to finish them off -- That gives them a total of either 9 or 8 minutes cooking time respectively -- either way they turn out great every time! Overall, I discovered that this machine allows me to cook my eggs sunny side up or scrambled, etc., etc. by playing around with its various features and I Absolutely Love It!! I can't imagine cooking eggs without this machine now and I honestly believe that if you buy it and experiment cooking eggs with it in different ways, you will love it too!! P.S.: To make clean up "super easy", I just brush both of its inner plates with a tiny amount of olive oil before cooking -- that way the eggs come out easily and a quick rinse of its plates makes the machine look brand new again. ... Try it -- You will love it!!

Works great for making a 1-egg or a 2-egg overhard fried egg. No complaints, since i have a hard time eating eggs when they aren't fully cooked. Cleanup for me is as easy as taking a paper towel sheet and wiping the cooking surface dry. I use a mild soap and some water to clean it more throughly every few uses, but with how well it cooks, i could probably get away with making well over a dozen eggs before doing a more through cleaning. Word of advice: while it has an auto-shutdown feature, the egg WILL still continue to cook for a short time afterwards. If you want perfect, english muffin-sized fried eggs (or you fry the egg on one of the non-well done settings), try to remove the egg as soon as possible after the shutdown chime triggers. My review doesn't cover the other non-well done (overhard) settings in detail, as i have no use for those settings.
