While this looks really nice? It’s REALLY hard to RETURN the leather piece back into the metal fob part, once you run it through the car key fob. It also is a tad short in length to make the process easier, when you at key is in a protective case. I had to use a small screwdriver to push down on the leather to squeeze it back in while simultaneously shoving it all back in. Just an eighth of an inch on each end of the leather strap piece would have made this much easier. Also, if your key isn’t in a protective outer case, then this probably isn’t an issue. But just want to put it out there for anyone else like me. It eventually squished back in, but it took much longer than it should have.

I bought this key holder to loosely attach to my Ford Edge key fob. I had broken the top of the key fob twice - and had to buy 2 replacement fob cases. Key holders like this were highly rated and the red leather strap made the connection to the key Fob more flexible. It also matches the color of the car and has a nice gunmetal gray coating on the rest. Construction feels substantial and durable. Getting the leather around the key fob was super easy. I just removed the spring loaded key ring and the strap comes apart very easily. Wrap the leather around the key fob. Align the leather over the 2 pins, put the ring back on to securely hold it and then attach it to my key lanyard with my other keys.

It’s much better than expected. Nice weight and quality leather.
