This airco works great. It’s slim, compact and very easy to assemble including the pipe and window kit. As my windows are horizontal flap openings, I Iaid the panel over the gap with the window open on top of it. I didn’t screw in, which makes it more portable to other rooms with same window. The castors help too, and there are two side handles if you need to lift it.All in all, even with the window not fully closed in my case, the unit does a great job to cool the room from 26 to 22 in an hour or so. I chose a 7000 rather than higher powered 9000 or 12000 airco, because I needed it for my office and I didn’t want noise. I put it on for an hour or two before I start work so the room is cooled in advance.Appearance, in case it matters to some, the flaps on the front are a grey not charcoal/black as they appear on the photos. And the pipe, fixtures and window kit are grey not white as it looks on the photo. I personally think grey looks better than white, it's smart/classy and fits the office style really well.

i'm looking forward to using it in the summer. my dining room gets very hot so this portable cooling fan should be perfect for those summer evenings.. its easy enough to transport from one room to another due to the castors. [they feel robust and look as though they can stand the test of time.].. the device is easy to use and comes with a basic remote control. [nothing fancy on that front]. overall i am pleased with the product. only time will tell of its longevity.

It does the job well, cools a room very effectively but the hose isn't really long enough to do much with, and the fixings pop off if you even dare to put a tiny bit of pressure on them - incredibly frustrating to install.Window fixing absolutely pointless for most modern houses, just more plastic to throw away.It is extremely loud though, even the 'quiet' setting - tbf you can barely discern a difference. We've been using it to cool the room before bedtime rather than try and run it overnight because of the noise but I suspect if the weather gets any hotter we probably won't care as much

The media could not be loaded. Pros:- cools the air (my room is about 4x4)- audible beeps when changing settings- handy remote- it is heavy so castor wheels makes it easy to move around- quite a compact discreet unitCons:- had to buy a separate window kit as the one that comes with this AC is only for sash windows (although most AC units come with this type of window kit)- remote didn't come with batteries- can't use drainage pipe with AC function (could of exhausted the water into a plant pot)Bottom line:I'd recommend this product as it does the job. Yet to try the dehumidifier function, will update this review in a few months to update on longevity of unit and dehumidying function during summer.

I ordered this in April in preparation for what I hope will be a hot summer. In the past we've used fans, but a friend recommended an air conditioning unit. This unit looked to be a good price, and there was £20 off which made it even more attractive.Arrived bang on time and was heavier than I expected, but that says to me it's going to be sturdy. And this was confirmed when I unpacked it. Came with easy to follow instructions which made it really simple to put together. Turned it on and it made me even more excited for the summer. It really blasts out cold air quickly, and the remote control makes it even handier to use.All in all, I'm really happy with this purchase and will be recommending to friends and family.

Product not particularly effective even cooling a small room,but takes the edge off it, and does reduce the humidity. Quite noisy.

Air con is the only thing I miss about working in an office since I switched to fully remote during the pandemic. My home office is well-insulated and for my job I have to have multiple PCs running constantly so it gets unbarably hot in here, thus having air-con makes working from home 100x more comfortable. It comes with wheels so it's easy to wheel around the house to where it's needed (e.g. bedrooms, or the room where I workout), though it is pretty heavy, so lifting up stairs might be difficult for some people. The remote control is a nice touch, especially since I have a lot of camera-enabled meetings and my headphones are wired which anchors me to my desk. All in all it was a great purchase. It's not too loud, has all the settings I'd ever need, and cools the room to whatever temperature I want. A must-have for a home office imo, especially with the summers getting hotter and hotter.

I've always wanted an A/C unit and bit the bullet and went for this one! And I'm so glad I did!! It came quickly and packaged well, It's really portable, and so quiet when using it! I've used it for the last 3 nights in a row and my bedroom has been lovely and cool! It's really easy to use and I'm even thinking about getting another one! I would highly recommend this if you want a quiet, reliable and easy machine that actually does what it says in the description! A++++++++++
