Awesome crab meat
Couldn't believe how good this was on salads

Best kept gumbo secret!
As a Louisiana born and raised mama in this economy, I sometimes have to change my recipes and try not to lose flavor and quality. I have been using a few cans of this canned lump crab meat in my seafood gumbo to stretch the fresh. It's perfectly delicious and no one is the wiser! You get what you pay for, but I find adding this in right as my gumbo is finished maintains a decent size lump throughout. Not to mention, the price here is cheaper than at Walmart! I call it a budget friendly win!

Not 6 ounces - still good
Beware that this item is 4.25 oz not 6 oz as written in the description. The taste was good with some lumps but mostly flakes. I made crab cakes that were yummy.

Convenient for seafood recipes
This is not only convenient but really great taste and perfect for my seafood recipes especially if you don’t need a lot of crab for your dishes

Smells extremely horribly foul. Full of shells
It smell like someone defecated In a can and the let it rot some more . The smell is horrific. Like decomposing rotten fish. FULL OF CRAB SHELLS.. FOR ALMOST 7 DOLLARS. NO WAY. NO THX

Fresh Tasting and Economical!
This canned crabmeat was very tender and in chunks which works well for making crab cakes. I added mayonnaise and a package mix plus some more paprika, salt and pepper. The crab cakes tasted fresh and not fishy. I will get this canned crab again maybe for a salad! ~The Rebecca Review
