I'm really loving this Rice Cooker! Definitely the BEST I've used! Perfect size for 1 or 2 people and perfect size to fit in a small cupboard. Having the good size handle is great and I love how it sits on that little ledge while cooking or being stored. Very helpful with the 2 measuring cups; one for the rice and the other for the water. Nice not to need an extra measuring cup! I usually cook jasmine rice and/or buckwheat and both taste great! Very fluffy and nothing sticks to the bottom. Steel cut oats didn't work that well, as they were messy. Haven't tried my old fashioned oats, but will at some point. Great recipes in the booklet! I think it's helpful to unplug the cooker as soon as the warmer button comes on and that may help from anything sticking. I have not let the food sit too long in the cooker. I thought it may be hard to know when the buttons go from Cook to Warm, but you can still hear a click. Plus, I always keep the front of the cooker towards me so I can see when the buttons switch. The top pops open so easily and that is great! The inner pot is very easy to clean! Just need a soft sponge. Nothing sticks! Don't even need to add a little bit of oil, as the pot is great quality! After reading the manual, I saw how easy it was to pull off the silver steam plate under the lid and gently remove the rubber liner around the plate. Since water fills up around the liner, this makes it so easy to wash. You have to be very careful when drying that plate so that it does not bend as it is very light. Also, you have to be just as careful when putting that rubber liner back around the silver plate, so that it fits just right and not to bend the plate. Most of the time, after cooking, water comes out from the bottom of the cooker as well as outside of the top. I assume that's from the water and steam. I keep a towel close by, so to quickly dry the water and not get the chord wet. Also, you have to be sure to dry around the back of the cooker. Since the cooker is black, it's best dry it under some light so you can see even a little bit of water in the back around the top before storing it. I highly recommend this Rice Cooker! It's easy to handle, cooks and cleans great! Also, when you reach out to the Seller with any questions or concerns, you get a thorough response in a very timely manner. I love this rice cooker! It attractive and makes Great rice quality. It doesn’t leak and it’s not messy. Instructions are easy to understand and cooker comes with separate cups for rice and water. The cups are marked to make it easier as is the side of the cooker. It’s so easy I imagine a child could make it, but I don’t recommend that they use electric appliances! The rice comes out in minutes. perfectly cooked and all that I suggest is that you fluff it with a fork. I love this rice cooker! It can also be used to make other things. But, I have only made rice so far.

This small rice cooker is as discribed. I like its name, Rice Robot. Smaller portions mean less waste of food. Easy clean up as the cooking pot has a nonstick surface. It was delivered on time and perfect condition.

Purchased in July 2025. First usage was Sept 2025. By Oct, the Robot stopped working. Did the troubleshooting. Nothing. A Fuse, really! I stand by my first review. My robot simply shutdown. This was my first impression: Purchase NOW!! Rice ROBOT will not disappoint. Very satisfied. I've steamed blue crab. I've cooked neckbones n rice, macaroni n cheese, shrimp low mein noodles, soup, etc within 3 days after opening the box. What I don't like: there is no on/off switch; the steam drain on the door leaks a mess. I place a folded paper towel to catch the drainage. The next gen needs a piece that drains the liquid back into the container. The cooker defaults to warm for safety reasons. I don't like it but I understand the reasoning. The ladle handle should be longer by 3 to 4 inches for a man and to prevent burns. It has yet to sensor when to cut off when food is ready. My rice was mushy. I shall read the instruction manual one of these days. I love my new kitchen assistant.

Simple to use, no need to stay near it to cook. Flexible for you to prepare other dishes.

My rice cooker robot, stopped working and I need to replacement. Please could someone explain how this works? I’m in Shasta College Redding main campus student and live in the dorm.

Works well so far, rice comes out great each time it is used. It's pretty durable and looks nice, runs very quiet. Used the steamer for vegetable's, and came out done along with the rice.

I rating this cooker as a 5 as I love it and it's very easy to use... even though it's a replacement for the original that stopped working. The warranty covered the replacement with no issues with the seller at all. They promptly sent me a new one that's been working great. I think the problem was with a thermal fuse on the inside but I didn't want to take apart in case of warranty issues... turns out they didn't ask for the original back anyway so I may delve into it in my spare time. The cooker makes all my rice perfect and even does porridge too. Will explore further with other recipes in the future. Love my Rice Robot!!!!!!

used 3 times: -first time: great fluffy rice, but took 3 attempts to cook, turned off into "warm" mode after 5 mins -second time: so-so rice, after taking 20 mins to cook. rice at the bottom burned -third time: had to jam something under the switch, or it would not cook, after starting to cook, rice burned at the bottom during "warm" mode. it's not user error, it seems to be either a defect, or just the construction of the unit. There is not a lot of intelligence in a "rice robot", it's just a bi-metallic strip telling it to turn on/off or warm, not a lot can or should go wrong here, but it did.
