GUM Sonic Powered Toothbrush

I wish that I had been using this toothbrush all of my adult life. It’s MUCH quieter than my previous rechargeable toothbrush and doesn’t cause my entire skull to vibrate as violently - which is great if you, like me, have sensory issues and are uncomfortable with loud noise right by your face or with your vision blurring while you brush. The bristles are awesome and really clean all the places without irritating my gums (I try not to push hard but I still do it unconsciously and my gums recede further when I do this with thicker bristled brushes). I thought that the battery operated feature would be more inconvenient than a rechargeable toothbrush, but the batteries have lasted MONTHS in this thing and I brush for like 3-4 minutes two or three times per day. The fact that it would be super easy to travel or go camping with this toothbrush with zero need to recharge for months at a time is actually a huge bonus. I haven’t had to try to purchase replacement heads for it yet so that’s my only concern. I hope they’re readily available. The heads are not giant, so the plastic doesn’t get in the way much of trying to reach my wisdom teeth, which is an issue I’ve had with others. The only improvement I can think of would be if replacement heads could be made of something environmentally friendlier than plastic. But I haven’t found any electric toothbrush yet that has sustainability and tapered bristles and low noise and affordability, so until that day, I genuinely cannot believe this thing is SO affordable and so much better than any other toothbrush I’ve had. I will note that the heads seem to be made with way less plastic than others due to the lighter design of the brush overall, so that’s good enough for me for now.

Surprisingly light and good grip make it easy to brush normal as they suggest. Battery Really lasts a long time which is nice because the battery compartment is very difficult to open and not so ease to close either. I didn't expect it but the battery that came with it lasted more than a month. Replaced it with a rechargeable AAA and that does just fine. I like the soft bristles. I can really feel them scrubbing down at the gum line. Still on my first brush head so that really holds up well too. Yes I do recommend if you want to enhance your brushing habits. Remember to brush normal!! Don't be afraid to try other GUM brand tooth brushes if you shy from this on. They are also very good if you are looking for soft bristles.

I brought this toothbrush for traveling and it’s just like the reviews say. It’s great I will not buy a regular toothbrush again.Its not as hard as some of the other brushes I have used that is why I like it but it cleans very well. I am a very happy customer with this toothbrush. Dk about batteries cause I only use it when I go away

I love it. Only problem is getting the battery cover off to install the battery.

This toothbrush works great! For something that is so light it actually has good power. I appreciate the regular size brush as opposed to the little round ones.

Best sonic toothbrushes. Bought one for everyone in the family. So light and quiet. Makes you want to brush longer. So far very durable. Very easy to use.
