Very good quality
Good quality finish and color is great, I use it to pour grond coffee in it directly from grinder Shute. Black color finish is very good. It will last long time without any issue, coffee never get stuck on walls which is very good, highly recommended

Very well made dosing cup
I was actually surprised when I received this in the mail. Based on the photos I assumed it would work but feel a bit cheaper. But the product is good quality and durable aluminum. It fits perfectly onto the Breville Bambino portafilter and makes it easy to weigh and transfer beans. It fits onto most of the Breville machines well, I’m unclear if it will fit on the standalone grinders.

Works well, feels sturdy
This was almost a perfect 5 stars... Very very close for me.This weighed in a 21g more than my other 54mm dosing cup. I believe the total weight was 111.2g for me.Dosing cup has the typical 54mm Dosing Cup design, which is meant to work for Breville machines, it does that well. I do wish the front notch was shorter, since Breville machines after you let go of the button, it'll have the coffee hit the outside of the dosing cup, costing you maybe .1g-.3g of coffee depending on how your machine is setup.Unfortunately, this dosing cup has an indent on the inside, roughly .5in from the top/lip of the cup, which causes coffee to get trapped there, specially if you are doing a shaking method to de-clump your grinds. The 54mm lip fits perfectly onto a 54mm portafilter, and because of it's larger weight it feels as if you have more control of the cup and can prevent accidental spills better. This can be your daily Dosing cup, just keep in mind the .1g you're bound to lose to the indent on the inside, as well as the longer button notch on the outside of the cup (Thanks Breville for a terrible grinder design). I do think for the price however, it could be better, considering that for less money you can get a nearly identical dosing cup

Didn't realize how much I was missing a dosing cup...
Before I get started on how this has helped my process, this is a high quality piece that seems well made. I have seen this brand around, and it looks like all of their products are higher end for a lower price point - my favorite. I will likely order a few more of their accessories after seeing and using this dosing cup.I have a pretty solid espresso setup(Solis Perfetta Plus) with a bunch of filters and a relatively nice grinder(Fohere). My grinder has an adapter for the portafilter, but I never really used it because I was not perfectly weighing my beans for grind(usually a little heavy, assuming some would stay in the grinder) and then reweighing with the dosing funnel and basket. I was using a spare mug to weigh the beans, and this cup essentially eliminates the need for that entire process. Now, I can just weigh the exact bean weight in this cup, dump it in the grinder, and it sits PERFECTLY in my grinder adapter - not only that, but it is basically the exact right height too. When it's done grinding, I can easily just toss it back on the scale to verify(and it has been perfect) before just dumping right into my basket. It did sit slightly higher than I was expecting when I dropped 17g into my 18-22g IMS basket, but it was compacted enough(and totally within the walls) that none spilled. I was able to proceed right to tamping. I do have a dosing funnel on the way that fits on the portafilter itself and allows tamping while it's on, but I'm not convinced I need it - more experimentation is needed, I guess I will have to drink more espresso :). What's more, this will easily store right in place in my grinder so it doesn't add clutter on my coffee bar...and I can essentially just get rid of the grinder container,Anyway, in short, this thing is perfect and I didn't realize how much more efficient it would make my process.

Not sure if you actually need this
I recently purchased this espresso dosing cup for use with my Breville Barista Pro Express, hoping it would simplify the process of grinding beans and transferring them to the portafilter. While the idea seemed great in theory, in practice, it adds an extra step that still results in a mess. If you were wondering, it does fit into the slot that your portafilter fits into, but it's still going to make a mess. The dosing cup is supposed to be non-stick, but I find that the grounds still get stuck inside and can be difficult to remove completely, which makes it harder to use. Unless you plan to use this solely for measuring your beans before grinding, I would suggest skipping this product. It didn't make my espresso routine any easier, and I'm left with more hassle than before.

Perfect for espresso bar!
This espresso dosing cup has been an excellent addition to my espresso bar at home. It is a very well-made and sturdy piece of equipment that is extremely compatible with my Breville barista express espresso machine. The dosing cup is used to weigh out the number of grams of espresso beans I’m going to grind and from the cup I pour the beans into the hopper. I then use this cup to allow the grind beans to be poured into it, and it fits perfectly in the doser cupholder on my Breville barista express machine. This also is very compatible with 54 mm portafilters as you can completely turn it over onto the portafilter and it fits perfectly if you’re trying to dump the grounded espresso beans into the porta filter. It is a very thick stainless steel material so it does not feel cheap at all. This is a great brand to begin with and this is an excellent piece of equipment and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a dosing cup for your Barista needs.

Well-made and has great weight to it.
A great addition to my espresso machine and coffee area. It is wide enough for our double portafilter and can hold about 4 double shots. I like the sleek black design.
