Like the game show. The price is right
Well Built, using for a dual generator setup. Indoor/battery and outdoor gas/propane 240v inlets. I will say that I did look through some of the reviews and photos. With that said, I cannot give electrical advice to the masses, but you should know what you're doing. I saw some people claiming that they're using this as a home backup switch for their generators, and yet on the terminal block for this transfer switch, they have both neutral wires and ground wires going to that same bar, which means they are bonding within this switch. For a portable generator set up, you should not be doing that the only place that you should be bonding or connecting the neutrals and grounds is in your main panel. Additionally, minor things like, making sure the sheathing of cable extends into the box appropriately, etc are code violations in all US locations under the NEC. Local codes tend to be more stringent. However, this is about the switch and it is well built.

Great value and works as designed
Had a difficult time finding a transfer switch during storm. Was excited when I found this one on Amazon for less than any others. Have already used it twice and works well and easy to install.

Woth the money, but be sure to check the size and fit for your need.
This Transfer switch worked out great. I used it for my solar installation in a hybrid offline system. Although this was a bit bigger that I would have liked, it worked out well. I wish it would have come with a ground lug for my application. Easy to install, good quality, good value for the cost. This looks durable and of good quality.

Seems well made. I used this as a transfer switch to select either a 50 amp generator inlet or 30 amp then I have the output going to an interlock in my main panel. Would definitely be tight working space if you were going to have a 100 amp feed in this transfer switch but it’s the same size as the main brand 100 amp transfer switches.

I would never install 100 amps to this transfer switch even though it's rated at 100 amps. The max I will put through this switch is 50 amps. It's missing a grounding lug and it doesn't have spring release when switching which reduces arcing on contacts when a load is connected. Need to add a grounding lug and switch under no load to be safe. The box is made of sturdy metal and is well constructed, though the knockouts are not punched well. The switching mechanism functions fine and has good contact in both positions. This will function fine for the intended application, which is not connected to the main grid. It will not pass electrical code in my area. I felt it was a bit pricy for the quality of a switch rated at 100 amps.
