I got this wavemaker due to having a large tank and needed more control of speed, and when I get it under 100 pounds, I've never looked at another wavemaker since. Most of the time I have it on the speed between lowest of 30 to 70 but don't use the 100 unless I am cleaning left over food or waste getting caught by obstacles in the tank.

I purchased this wavemaker for my 90 gal tropheus tank . The wavemaker arrived on time and in good quality. Have had it set up and running now for 2 months . This unit works great ,easy set up with several control modes. With proper settings the unit keeps the tank substrate clear on debris . Also keeps the tropheus occupied and reduces aggressions . Lots of water flow, quiet operation, no suction cups to fail ,and hides well in the tank .

This item from new went to error code . Trouble shootted the wavemaker and again error code. I need a i realible not bugged unrealible product. Item returned to US. Tracked says arrived now for Amazon refund

this little powerhead rocks. with 5 modes to choose from and an auto shut off light sensor that shuts off the modes at night and gives a constant 30 gph flow for the night mode, its truly a great little powerhead for a nano or grab two of the for a bigger tank. they have excellent modes, and they do create excellent gyres and kick up the debris for the back corners and hard to reach areas of your tank. the design is nice too. all in all ive had this powerhead set up for months with zero issues. hygger makes great stuff. i use the powerhead on the lowest setting and the single pulse mode meaning it is the lowest of the lowest settings and power and it still makes excellent gyres. use after a feeding to kick up the extra food that settles to the ground so the fish and coral and grab it and whatever is left gets sucked up by the filter. ive been in the reef tank hobby for over ten years and i will always use hygger for the price and quality of their powerheads.

Needed to buy a power adapter for Australian use which is not mentioned in the listing and cost an extra $19.00. Have not been able to use it yet.
