Louis Raphael ROSSO men's washable wool blend flat front full comfort dress pant

Slick fabric, narrow cut
These pants are very different from the last wool-blend Louis Raphael pants I bought for my husband. The previous pants were 60% polyester and 40% wool. These pants are 60% polyester, 38% wool, and 2% Spandex. That tiny 2% Spandex really makes a difference in how the fabric looks and feels. Slicker, shinier, almost a "disco" look to it.The cut of these pants is not what we expected, as compared to the previous ones. (I don't know the style name/number.)They looked to be cut much narrower in the thigh, so I laid them flat on the ironing board and measured 4" down from the crotch, then across the leg. They are a full 2" narrower in the thigh than his previous Louis Raphael pants. Due to the slickness of the fabric and the narrower cut of the legs, we decided to return them.

Not worth the price
If you are looking for nice dress pants these aren't probably for you. I was looking for a certain amount of utility and decided to keep them despite my overall low scores for the product. I'm 5'11" and 163 pounds and didn't much care for the tailoring or the material. I'll wear them instead of jeans or chinos until I wear them out and won't buy them again. I got some Palm Beach dress pants that were much better for less money early this year but the price on those pants more than doubled so I thought I'd try these. Mistake.

Fits true look great even after wash and dry
This is the brand I've been wearing to work for over 5 years. Love the feel, fit and easy machine wash of these slacks. In Levis jeans, I wear 36x32 these slacks I wear 38x32.

"Skinny fit".....
I've bought several pairs of the Rosso washable wool pants, and have been pretty happy with them. Unfortunately their quality control seems to be slipping....this is the second pair i've ordered where the size isn't quite up to par. The first pair was labeled as a 38x34, but looked (and fitted) more like a 34x30! This pair, while correct in the waist and inseam, fits tightly through the leg (like a 'skinny fit' suit).

hard-to-find size, wool is still wool, even if it's washable
Love this brand of pants, they are worn 2-3 x a week by son for school, always look new. I usually get the polyester, but they didn't have the right size so I tried the wool blend. It comes out fine, but he doesn't like them as much since they smell like wool (mostly when they're line-drying) and get sweaty-wet - and then smell funny. It might be better in the winter. 'Hard to find 30 x 32 pants.

Very nice quality polywool blend with adj waist
Great quality pants. My favorite polywool blend dress pants in this price range of several brands I have tried. Wish they were available in a broader range of colors.

Nice slacks for the price
Only problem I have with them is the adjustable waist. Why put adjustable waist in a pair of slack and then don't let it adjust but one inch? I only buy adjustable waist pants and i have many pairs and they all adjust 2 to 3 inches. They are so comfortable...but one inch doesn't do much good.

I have ordered six pairs of these over the past ...
I have ordered six pairs of these over the past couple years. The material is light, but durable. They give an upscale appearance compared to cotton chinos.

Quality description of pants misleading
I bought this brand of pants years ago and was quite happy with material, fit and look. This time not impressed and probably won’t ever by this brand again. They’re very ordinary and the length I ordered was not correct ( too long). I can’t be bothered to ship back to USA ; I will have altered and not buy another pair again
