Holy cliff hanger! If you plan to read this book, make sure you already have the second one on the way! I read this is two days and more than enjoyed the read. Now I’m waiting around in a winter storm, wishing I had ordered both at the same time…impatiently awaiting my next Amazon delivery!

Dark romance with great spice. The plot is fantastic, granted the ending is a cliff hanger which upset me, but I've been there before and already bought the second book before I started reading this one. One thing I will say, the first and second book, definitely could have been one bigger book. However, focusing on the development of their relationship in this book as the main plot and not the mystery aspects is an understandable reason why they are separated.

I really enjoyed this one! Definitely read the triggers before starting! This is a stalker romance that definitely captures your attention. I loved the tension in it and the way the characters were pulled to each other. There were a few scenes that I was pulled out of when he would think of his mother, but I also understand why he thought of her also 😅 Harper is my absolute favorite best friend character! She’s hysterical and not ashamed or shy in any way!

Now the dedication was what drew me into this book!!! I love a good professional follower. Especially when he has no emotions for anyone but her. Hauden Bennett is a prosecutor by day and a Justice collector by night. To me it was repetitive to the end bur the cliffhanger ending was perfect and made me pick up book 2 immediately. On page text messages I love those idk why but I found them cute and esthetically appealing in page. Fast paced read since it's not thick even tho the timeliness of the book is very short

I can’t even think of where to begin. I was simultaneously reading as fast as possible and rereading parts cause I didn’t want it to end. I don’t think I’ve ever highlighted more than I have in this book. The man is HOT. HAWTT. I literally, I’m not even kidding, HAD to talk to a friend about him and show her some of the things I highlighted and quite literally had a dream that same night. I’ll never EVER get over this book boyfriend. The storyline is so good, the buildup had me freaking DYING. And the book itself is truly just written so finely it flowed so well. And now I’m headed over to read the next one STAT cause I’m dying over here.

She literally got my attention in Chapter 1. Then it slows down so we can get to know the characters. Details Details. I love it. Dark Stalker Romance for sure but hot damn 😥 Hayden is such a smooth talker any female would swoon over him and he’s kinda hot/scary romantic.Whew! He’s clearly the one to fall in love first she consumes his whole life. He’s possessive and bossy! 🤤. Definitely some hints of cat and mouse in the book. You definitely see a lot of character development from Hayden it’s like Calista is his antidote. But now he’s put two and two together that she may actually be in danger not by him but someone that was connected to his mothers own death (OD). Calista (Callie) is finally putting two and two together and is taken it heart of what he has done. Realizing he was her stalker and took her pearl necklace. This book is well written and I loved it honestly. I read it in two hours. I couldn’t believe I zoomed threw it. I just hope the last book is a lot of smut because this gonna be a long ride for then🤣. Callie is a victim of a date rape drug and possibly raped she definitely was beaten. She hasn’t really told her story yet which I’m sure will come out in book 2. This book does have me going threw emotions because when Hayden’s darkest secrets come to light besides being her stalker. What will she do probably run. I don’t want to go into detail because I feel like I spoiled enough. Is Callie safe my question is there gonna be a HUGE TWIST in book 2? Like I want to know who did it? Why? How will Callie react when his Dark Secret comes out or will he take it to his grave? The Ex have something to do with it? Will the best friend betray her? Sooo many questions! This book literally leaves me wanting me to have MORE and Morgan is giving me bread crumbs! Book two doesn’t even come out until 10/29. I think I just found me another book boyfriend! Definitely read trigger warnings and hopefully book two is a little more darker and explore more smut. This doesn’t pertain to the book but Morgan does reply to her readers in her plate forms of media. For that I’m greatly grateful that she took the time out to reply too. I did have a fan girl moment ♥️

The condition of the book came pristine throughout (spine, edges flawless). Theres no annoying stickers whatsoever on the book cover itself (inside or out) (i plastic wrapped mine for longevity).

Even as a German, this book is good to read and easy to understand (if you know English). However, it was quite difficult (for me personally) to get into the book and establish a connection with the characters. The processes went very fast and some things came super suddenly. But when I got used to the writing style and the characters, I couldn't put the book down.
