I needed to use this to increase the height of an existing wood fence. I have one of those wood fences with the 2" wood slats (or is it pickets?) that are vertical, side-by-side and pointed at the top. The fence was 6' to 7' tall along my yard. One night, while sitting outside on a warm summer night with my dog, I noticed her fixating on something. It was dark and it took me a bit to notice it was an opossum staring back at her from the top of the fence. I picked up a rake, thinking I would gently encourage the critter to go to the neighbor's yard instead of ours. As I got closer, the opossum started running along the fence. I had no idea they could move that fast! As I was following it to make sure it wouldn't come down on our side, I saw something out of the corner of my eye. My dog, Lola, was crouching and taking steps, faster and faster and then leapt up, leading the opossum by just the right amount, and caught the poor critter by the middle of its back off the top of the fence, spun in mid-air, gave it a hard shake that killed it instantly and stuck the landing, looking rather proud of herself. But I digress. I needed a quick, inexpensive fix so with this welded wire, a few wooden supports and a dozen screws and the fence is two feet taller. I was worried it might look craptacular, but with the dark color, it is almost invisible. When I showed it to my neighbors, they had been out there a few times and had not even noticed until I told them. Good price, fast Prime delivery, what else can I say?

This is great stuff! Very easy to work with. Thick enough to be strong, but thin enough that it was no problem cutting it with wire cutters. I used it to line the inside of the wooden fence around my deck to keep my chihuahua from slipping through the slats. I attached it to the fence with zip ties. Some wire like this has the cross-wires at the bottom closer together to keep small animals like bunnies from getting through. This has all the wire spaced evenly so the squares are all the same size. If you are trying to keep rabbits out of your garden, a very small animal could possibly slip through the bottom. This was not a problem for me because my dog is not that small. I was very happy with it and the price was lower than most comparable products.

I used this wire and a 25 pack of Tingyuan Garden Stakes 30 Inches Steel Plant Stakes that I also bought here on Amazon to raise our fence height this summer from 5' that our Bloodhound was able to get over to just over 6'. I overlapped this wire with the fence about 6-8" and wove the stakes through both to keep them up. No more problems & the fence has held nicely through all kinds of weather. Now it's winter and we have 2' of snow, making the fence about 4" high with mountain lion tracks on the outside of the fence this morning. I've just ordered more wire and stakes (I use about 5 per roll) to try and keep the dog in and the mountain lion discouraged enough that she stays out. I know... not your usual motivation, but it works!

This wire has a quality coating on it. I have had one roll for several years and it still looks new. I like the weight of the wire. It is rigid enough to stand up with a few stakes but flexible enough to bend around corners of a garden or flowerbed. I use it to fence a small garden. The 2ft height keeps the rabbits out but I can still bend over it to pick vegetables.

Nothing wrong with the product but if your building traps its too flimsy. I made a 24in x 24in squirrel trap and noticed its not sturdy enough. It will trap squirrels but lager pests may damage it.

Used it to make 16 inch sides on 5x8 trailer very strong and economical alternative to flat steel .now things won't slide off trailer into the road.

I have 2 dogs and I love to garden. This is the reason I purchased this product. I have an Irish setter and a Newfoundland puppy. I removed pricker bushes along the side of our house and replaced them with 3 currants, ornamental blueberry bushes, some herbs and perennials. I spent the ENTIRE summer yelling at dogs to get out of the garden! Trampled coneflowers, uprooted glad bulbs, and the tomato cages over the blueberries didn’t stand a chance. I’m a huge fan of Amazon’s Warehouse Deals. I got this product at a discount, probably because it was returned. It arrived perfectly fine. I had gotten some bamboo sticks handed down from my in laws. One day when the 8mon 75lb Newfie puppy trampled the only echinacea I had left I figured I needed to stop procrastinating and put up the darn fence. I used those skinny little bamboo sticks, and had the whole thing up in 30mins. I never measured, so was surprised that it fit the entire side garden I needed it to. Best of all, it’s been 3 weeks & the Tasmanian devil hasn’t gotten tangled in it or knocked it down!!! They’ve both completely left it alone. The coneflowers have rebloomed! And from the road it’s barely noticeable. The bamboo is more noticeable then the fence. I plan to buy a couple more for the front & other side of the house. I’m also considering using them around my giant perennial gardens because they blend so well into the landscape. I’d like to work out a “gate” system next spring. To be clear, they are not heavy duty. They’re easily bendable which is why I could install so quickly. But my dogs haven’t messed with the area since I put it up which is what my goal was!

J'ai pris cette clôture pour empêcher mon chien (11 livres) de passer au travers de la haie. Avec 7 bons tuteurs je crois que ce sera suffisant pour la faire tenir sur 96 pieds.
