Glass Gems - Black Opaque (48 oz.)

Needed some glass gems for a plant humidity tray, and these fit the bill perfectly. Bought another brand initially, but was not happy with them, as they were clear gems that had just been coated with red coloring. The Gemnique gems (in red) were colored all the way through--no worries about the coloring flaking or bubbling off after being submerged in water. Came very well packaged--gems were in a hard plastic jar, with a foam insert at the top to keep them from rattling around. Each jar was in it's own small cardboard box. I ordered two 4 lb jars (of the "standard" size)--no broken or cracked gems in either jar. They worked perfectly for the humidity tray, and look fantastic.

These gems were perfect for my needs. The color is vibrant, a true teal. It comes packaged in a plastic jar the screws shut, with a pad inside to protect during shipping, so all gems were in tact. I had well over 50 stones (probably between 60-70). Overall this was a great purchase. Photos compare size and thickness to a quarter.

I bought these to fill up a small flower pot on my desk that has fake tulips. This was the perfect solution. The amount of rocks was exactly what I needed to fill up the little pot. They are large and sturdy enough to hold up the tulips which were all bound together. The flowers are up high so you can't see the rocks but if I had this on a table that was visible it also looks very nice. Great find!

These were perfect for a project I’m doing with my third graders. Not too thick or heavy and just the right size. I was extremely impressed with the packaging. The container was securely in a box, and there was a foam disk in the top of the container to keep the pieces from moving around. Will order again from this company if I need more!

I bought this set of 3 ceramic succulent pots (for fake succulents) on Amazon and wanted them to be filled with something pretty. The color of these (latte for me) was spot on, exactly as pictured. The only reasons I give this a 4 star and not a 5 are: -at least 5% of the marbles were broken or chipped. Not a big deal for me, but for the price I was surprised any of them were broken. -Right on the Amazon box it shipped in it was labeled 3.2 pounds. So I HIGHLY doubt I got 3 pounds of actual marbles. That 3.2lb weight included the container and all. Overall it worked but for the price i don't feel like these are 5 star quality, in the future I’d probably just go buy marbles at an arts and crafts store like Hobby Lobby. UPDATE: For whatever reason I received a second 3lb box of these marbles today, I have no idea if this was the seller trying to be nice to me or what, but this time they were packed very well and it doesn’t look like a single marble is broken. And this time the shipping weight is 4.0lbs. So I’m guessing I just had bad luck the first go around. A weird way to get here, but I’ll give it a 5 star now. Cheers!

The iridescent luster is a thin coating on the surface, so depending on what they are being used for, it could wear off.

These were perfect for the small compote bowl to support my Rose of Jericho plant. The blue color is quite pretty. The amount of gems you receive is awesome for the price. Would look lovely scattered along a table for decoration as well.

Purchased two 48 ounce containters for the Amber mini glass gems as accent fill for a table lamp constructed from a Willett Pot bottle, The amber color and size were perfect for this application. I would use these mini gems again in the future if I have a similar project.
