Went surprisingly well. I was skeptical of the adhesive method this kit uses, but everything's working great after following the instructions (cleaning the contacts, using the prying tool to press down across the button PCBs to ensure adhesion). Wanted to make my controller clicky for a while, and recently my Y button started becoming unreliable so had the perfect excuse. The kit is very easy to install, but the Xbox Series controller itself is quite fiddly to disassemble and reassemble. Make sure your action buttons and sync buttons are in place before screwing down the first board. When installing the rear cover, take care that both battery terminals make their way through, and screw the battery compartment screw down first. If the rear cover isn't near perfectly centered, the triggers will rub.

Works and feels amazing. Easy installation, but you really have to pay attention to the alignment of the contacts. Better to test after installation before fully reassemble the controller

Installation was easy. Have this kit installed on all my other controllers. *Update* I just installed another kit on my latest controller build and only the y button really clicks. The other three are very quiet, although they do register button presses.

I was looking into a Scuf controller to get those instant clicky switches for fighting games, but I'm definitely not looking to spend $180. I tried the Scuf Envision Pro, but it has too many extra features I don't care about. This kit looks to be the perfect solution, and it really is, but there is something that this can't do that the Scuf was well designed with: the perfect balance between clicky and mushiness. Since you continuously input button presses for fighting games, you're constantly pressing on the buttons, and since the original xbox controller is designed with the more mushy softer buttons, it's not that big of a deal. However, these buttons simply just place over the original boards in the controllers and it results in a much stiffer, harder button press that feels like you're pressing down on a rock over and over again. The way the original controller PCB is placed in the controller doesn't allow for the board to actually flex, since the mushy original membrane would do that instead. The click is DEFINITELY there and snappy, but it gets really fatiguing on your thumbs even in an hour. I saw some reviews that were saying the B button wasn't working, and that was the case for me too. I fixed this by getting a graphite pencil and lightly scribbling over the included conductive pad material in the installation kit. It went from not being detected at all to working perfectly for the whole day. This kit does exactly what it claims to, and has no real problems, but I think the stiffness isn't for me. I think if you play games that involve clicking the face buttons for a reload, or a jump, I think this is perfect, but if you're constantly spamming the buttons, it gets tiring.

This kit basically is a mouse click button that overlays the original PCB you need to cut the new sticker with the mouse click buttons to fit around the controller boards PCB and resistors. There’s also the jelly membrane that is for the ABXY buttons it also supports the three center buttons on the front of the controller I cut it in half to separate the ABXY buttons so everything that needed the oem membrane was supported otherwise it was a scary diy but easy once I realized what this kit is actually doing. Definitely needs some modifications but works amazing for the elite controllers I’m sure if you get inventive you can cut them off the sticker they give you and change all the buttons you want to mouse click.

Edit: changed to 1 star. just used the controller for an hour or so and while the buttons an “clicky” (the b button feels squishy compared to the other 3), the y and b button only register every 4 or 5 clicks. Really disappointed. Install was easy with the new “V2” video. I really wish these worked as I really enjoy the “mouse click” but I’ve removed them as the buttons don’t work…

Bought this thinking it was for the elite s2. Was not. BUT, I was able to make it work by cutting out the circles on the stock membrane. As far as buttons not working, double up the contact pads. Take a mechanical pencil and scrape the contact pads while stacking them. All the buttons work and have had no issues. Update: since writing this it has only worked better with time. Still have no issues doing it this way

I was getting sick of having to smash the buttons on my Xbox series X controller, then I found this, and all I can think about is why wasn’t this a standard feature. The mod was easy to install thanks to their clear instructional video, that they kindly provided a link for.

These are a slight improvement over v1, which was already pretty good. The buttons don’t all sound exactly the same, but that’s more to do with the abxy buttons being different sizes and one of the buttons being on an entirely different circuit board. Once you get your controller apart, this kit is pretty easy to put in. Just MAKE SURE you actually press the adhesive down all the way especially around the switches. I had one button not working because I failed to do so. I have the v1 kit on another controller and have never had a single issue with it.

Acheter pour la élite 2, pas compatible d’origine il faudra faire quelques découpes dans le FRP du « B » ainsi que dans le pad transparent donné avec car le bouton « Xbox » et changement de profil non pas besoin c’est déjà des « boutons » et non un toucher carte mère, bref si vous faites attention que vous observer vous saurez l’adapter à la élite 2 :)
