I would recommend getting new filament the white filament it gives you I found out it was not the best quality. So I would recommend getting new ones and I can already tell it’s much more high quality. Also you will need a computer if you want prints that aren’t included in the printer.

Missing power cable - it was also so difficult to return. The printer probably works fine but there’s no way to tell with a missing power cable.

The library that I work for purchased this 3D printer as a way to showcase our 3D printing services off-site because of how light and compact this 3D printer is. When it arrived, I was unable to get it to work. There was an issue where the SD card reader would recognize that there was a card reader in there, but it wouldn't load up any of the prints. I reached out to the customer service team and Viki was super helpful. She helped me troubleshoot for a bit and then quickly realized that there was an issue with the motherboard. She sent me a new one which I replaced and now it works like a charm! I've only tried printing the preloaded prints from the provided sd card, but those all work great. I love the magnetic bed plate since it makes removing prints super easy and everything I've tried to print has worked without issue on the plate even without heat. This is great for 3D Printing beginners who have a basic understanding of computer hardware in case something goes wrong. Don't hesitate to reach out to their customer support if you need to, they're awesome!

"beginner friendly" must be relative. Just fyi you may have the following additional expenses for sure. They aren't expensive for me for time being, but it would have been nice to be prepared in advance. -more filament for sure. Only white starter filament comes in the box so it doesn't last long. -masking tape/glue stick for adhesion to the bed. A few stickers to cover the bed came in the box. They do not last forever. The print shifts while printing and creates a mess if I use nothing. -I use my hot glue gun to fix prints that sometimes break while I am removing the supports -I bought a cheap laptop because my chromeOS isnt compatible with the slicing programs recommended. You are good if you have a windows laptop or a MAC. If I had known I would have known slicing with a Chromebook would be an issue, I would have invested a bit more to get the Tina2S. Currently, we are very limited in what we can print until the laptop arrives. If you buy this for your child, especially age 10 or under, it may take a lot of work from you before the child is able to use it without your intervention.

I bought this printer for my 13 year old son’s birthday. He loved it and used it right away the first print was perfect and flawless. So far all the prints even the ones he designed were great and the complex moving ones came out perfect. It’s fast and mighty. Highly recommended for anyone. The customer service is great. I had the filament tube broken in shipping and contacted ETINA costumer service and emailed back and forth with A service rep named Viki and he was a great help. He was very helpful and didn’t fool around. Best costumer service in a long time

My son bought one of these to learn to print with, and for its size it prints very well. One little downside is it uses 250g spools of filament which are difficult to get hold of. The major issue I have with it is, if you are trying to relax within 50 feet of this thing, it is very noisy with cheap load drivers. I have a much larger 400x400 printer that has silent drivers and that thing you can be 5 feet away and not hear at all.

Update- I am updating this review because of the customer service I received from Anna, only because of that. Anna has been extremely attentive to my current issue with this printer and has helped resolved my issue, something I’ve been trying to do for months. Thank you, Anna for your patience, understanding and for actually reaching out and sticking with me until my issue is resolved. I added two more stars because of your assistance I would 100% NOT recommend this product! Save yourself the stress and money. I’ve had issues with this machine since I purchased, 2 months in to be exact. It wasn’t printing correctly and so much time is wasted dealing with tech support. They are in Hong Kong, so they don’t end up getting back to me until midnight my time.. no 24hour support to support those countries they sell to. I am now going on 2 months and my issue is still not resolved, I was sent a new nozzle with no tools to replace. I let them know I had no tools and they took days to reply, only to tell me they had already sent the nozzle. I eventually ended up getting a partial refund. I’m saving up for a better printer. Run from these printers! Nozzle issues, adapter issues, not printing correctly and a waste of filament!

It clogged and i tried to repair it and it still did work clogged mid print and it wont fix
