Easy to use, provide good light

I LOVE these lights! They're smaller than I thought they'd be, but that's great! My deck stairs face north and I was afraid there wouldn't be enough direct sun to charge these, but there is. And they work exactly as described! When there's been no activity near them they're a soft glow (that's actually enough light to see the stairs) and as soon as you're near them they come to full power (which isn't too bright, but definitely enough to well-light the stairs.) And re. motion sensitivity - they don't wait until you're already on the stairs and passing by to come to full power; they sense as you're approaching so that by the time you get there there's plenty of light. I'm so glad I got these!

Unobtrusive but bright lights for deck stairs. Motion detection works well. Easy to install and the lights help the dog see the stairs betters . Seem to be holding up but have to see how the winter goes as rain has been pretty scarce. Moderately priced

Easy to install and make a big difference at night walking down it deck stairs. They are softly lit at all times but get brighter when motion is detected.

They work well. the light comes on dim when motion is detected the brighten up alot. Easy installation, use what is provided or I installed them with Velcro. The exterior type. Looks good and works well.

The concept is great, IF your steps are on the south side. My stairs are on the North side of the house. I’m in southern Arizona so get at least 12 hours of daylight each day. During the summer when the Sun is more in the north, these solar lights catch enough Sun to work properly. However once the Sun moves further south, there little direct sunlight but a lot of daylight. That is insufficient for these to work at all. Disappointing for me considering I have other solar items that work without direct sunlight.

Pros: - The lights are easy to install. I opted to simply stick them to the wood with the sticky tape provided. - They stay on all night without issue, so long as they get enough sunlight during the day. - The motion activation works very well. The extra brightness provided when they sense motion is surprising. - The sticky tape option works surprisingly well. We have one accident when scooping snow off the steps with one of them. But the rest are holding strong through many snow storms, rain and strong wind. Cons: - My ONLY con is that they don't come with extra sticky tape for accidents that might happen.

These lighting units offer outstanding performance, delivering substantial brightness and retaining their charge throughout the night.
