Gravity Belt — Incredible results!!
If people only knew what they were missing…This isn’t only for those with acute back pain, it’s for everyone who wants to do preventative maintenance to keep a healthy spine. Gravity affects us all and poor posture definitely affects me. The back relief is incredible. The negative gravity spine decompression feels amazing.Whenever I feel stress after a long day I can decompress and get into an ultra-relaxed state within a few seconds as Earth’s gravity of 1 g reverses to -1 g. I use this daily and the value far exceeds the price. There is nothing else that comes close, not even the expensive traction tables used in chiropractic offices. Hanging decompression, while protecting the S curve and center of gravity, is far superior to mechanical pulling traction.During my first week, I was hanging and felt a trouble spot deep in my lower back almost down by my tailbone on the right side. I felt it stretching and increasing in discomfort until it suddenly adjusted in two spots resulting in waves of relief. I didn’t realize I was living with a constant dull pain there until it was gone. I think we often live in pain without realizing it. It corrected something that was wrong and I haven’t felt that trouble spot since (Edit: my back periodically adjusts, taking care of any trouble spots as they arise). I learned from one of the videos that muscles along the spine have muscle memory and need to be decompressed in order to reset them. Laying in bed relaxes but can’t decompress or reset, this is why people lose height as they age, the vertebrae compress, among other things. The shape of the belt with its semi-rigid custom composite grips, form the perfect structure which facilitates the elusive pelvis drop while protecting the spine’s S curve — all without inversion. The supporting brackets are heavy gauge stainless steel which allows trust that nothing will break while in deep relaxation. Not everyone can instinctively drop their pelvis. If you don’t know how yet, you will want to learn. You must completely and continuously let your muscles hang loose as though your lower half will fall away from your upper half.I prefer my arms inside the belt, this is known as the Bear Hug, it's the best way to use Gravity Belt in my opinion; I’m able to slowly slide out of the belt over the course of a couple minutes, give or take. Slowly sliding out of the belt while consciously dropping the back (hips and legs can also be dropped), causes the decompression to focus on different vertebrae during the slide. At the end of the slide, my spine is in complete relaxation so I try to hold as much of my weight as possible with the handles to gradually let my spine re-acclimate. Going from -1 g in complete relaxation back to Earth’s 1 g is a sensation I have never felt before. If someone had told me there was a euphoria device, I wouldn’t have believed them but I experience it daily.I have found that wearing two long sleeve T-shirts removes friction discomfort when slowly sliding out of the Gravity belt and this also protects the arms from friction which can happen with short sleeves using the Bear Hug method.Last but not least, I prefer my feet to be fully dangling off the floor as I slide, without lifting them of course. Being fully off the floor gives me the best extension. I’m somewhat tall so the stand must reach up near the ceiling. I put boards under the stand to raise it even higher. I use the Everlast heavy punching bag stand with thick horizontal support tubes which are useful to rest my legs on when I’m getting farther into Gravity Belt.

Incredible craftsmanship and impressive engineering.
The very first thing I noticed when I received my order was the care in packing this product. Something about the extra layers of cardboard, the sealed bags, even the materials used to print the documentation are of a higher quality than I’ve seen in product in a long time, if at all.Everything about this product showcases attention to details. The stitching is flawless. You can tell whoever made this took a ton of care in their work and I honestly don’t know how they did it at this price point. My favorite feature of this gravity belt (besides the high quality build) is the generous length in the hanging strap. With the extra length I’m able to vary the height of the belt and try different positions to stretch, for instance it’s wonderful to hang from the belt at a high position but lowering it all the down also allows some extra flexibility movements almost like a yoga (camel) pose. It’s surprising how dynamic your movement is while stretching on it because your able to rotate, swing and move around all while breathing without any restrictions.Another surprise I found was how I immediately felt after using the gravity belt. My back cracked the first time I used it (hasn’t cracked since then unfortunately). But after using it the feeling of a deep stretch stays with me for a while. All the years of sitting hunched over a desk using a computer I think have made me realize how my body just hasn’t been in this kind of position in a long time and it shows I need it.Would I buy this gravity belt again? Absolutely! But I don’t think I will ever have to, it’s built like a tank. Well worth the price.

It works okay but the price is high for what it is
It is very sturdy and somewhat comfortable to use. It does seem to help some but the price point is a bit high for what it is.

This thing helps your back decompress!
It is a little rough on your under arms. What I did was put plumbers pipe insulation on the edge so when you hang it cushions your underarms. Between this product and going to chiropractor on the Cox decompression machine, all is better ! I would recommend you splurge and by this.

Grossly Overpriced
Works as advertised. Price is unreasonable. I get that the company needs to make money, but the price (in my 15 years professional sales), is ridiculous. Landed cost per item has to be under $45. How do you justify $350?? Unless you're planning on renting this out to your friends when they come over, you will feel like this isn't worth it. Find a cheaper product (they're out there).

One of my daily routine uses!
I have bought so many different things to try and help my back pain and keep it manageable! **I have to put this up here because it’s a long review and want you to know that the customer service is top of the line! Any questions about the product or issues they were able to provide top level support!**Teeter hang up, chirp wheel 4 pack, simulated acupuncture pads you lay one, massage guns, Tens units. The works, I have tried a lot! I received this about 3 weeks ago and it has been a great purchase! I use it every day, when I start my day and after the end of a long day at work. You can really feel the decompression unlike most of my other devices I use! There are multiple ways to stretch in it and strengthen. I use the bear hug that one is the one that provides me a lot of relief in my thoracic region! And while in that stretch you can slide down bit by bit unit you hit the desired spot! It is a little spendy but it is made out of quality material and don’t see it wearing and breaking in the many years to come!! I also purchased the door frame piece they sale and it is really stealthy, I have it in my widest door way, in between the kitchen and dinning room so I can have the most space! So I would say it is worth the extra money for it but if you have a pull up bar or something similar to use then that is great! But it is easy to install and they provide long and beefy lag bolts and a Klein torque head handle to install! Great product, great customer service, and I would recommend to you!
