Better than expected
I love the sleek look of it and the different settings for the fan. The quality is great and it looks great on the stove. It is much quieter than what we used to use! It fits perfectly into my DIY kitchen remodel. I love it. It was very easy to install, just follow the instructions and I am very happy with it. There is a lot of suction power so I think it's nice. Upscale luxury feel. Perfectly working range hood. Easy to operate and responsive.

Great hood, optomistic CFM rating, Chimney cover only covers 32" which is probably not enough.
I bought this Range hood to replace a Whirlpool 30" Curved Glass range hood. The Whirlpool was at least 6 years old and the 3 speed fan had failed. It would have cost $460 to replace the fan unit plus itt was on back order for an estimated 60 days. At $228 plus tax this range hood ws a steal and delivered in 36 hours. It was really easy to install since it hung off the same mounting screws left by the Whirlpool. The Whirlpool was secured both with screws at the top and additional ones at the bottom while this only had two screws at the top. While it is a much lighter unit I felt this was not as sturdy a mounting as it should be. An expanding tube is provided to link from the unit to the existing 6" duct. Both ends of the tube are 6" ID so it did not fit inside my existing 6" metal chimney. I had to cut slots and bend up the sides to allow the tube to get inside. Then I taped it up with metalized high temperature tube tape. (Make sure you have some before instalation.) Finally I added the cover for the Chimney and this is where we ran into a problem. From the top of this very slim unit to the ceiling was 32.5" but the cover would only expand to 32" . Fortunatly it was the exact same dimensions as the cover removed from the Whirlpool, except the Whirlpool would extend to 35" so I used that instead. As to operation: The quiet is good and it gets progressivly noisier as more air is pulled through. Definitely pulls out the smells. There are 4 speeds, though the top two are hard to tell apart. Not sure if it actually does 900cfm, the manual says top speed is 650cfm but compared to the old Whirlpool, rated at 300cfm it is sooo much better. It also looks very stylish. One minor irritation is the control panel. One has to press the ON button, then the speed. To turn Off press the On button twice. If pressed once you get a 3min delay, which could be a useful feature to pull out the remaining smells.

Great design with performance
I’ve been using this for several months and couldn’t be more impressed. The sleek, modern design is top-notch—clean lines and premium aesthetics make it stand out. Functionally, it’s a powerhouse, delivering consistently high performance with ease. Setup was quick and effortless, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone who values both style and performance.

Worst purchase
This is the worst purchase I have made in years. It is beyond loud. I set it to the lowest setting and can't hear anything aside from the insanely loud blowing. It looks good for absolutely nothing.

High quality vent hood and ease to install.
I have read a lot of reviews about this range hood and there is nothing wrong with the quality of this machine. It's a little louder than our previous unit; when you stand near the fan, you get the feeling that it will suck everything away. The most notable comments have to do with the installation. I was planning to build a platform that I needed to be high, and I found a box that was sturdy to the height I wanted. After cutting the holes in my cabinet for ventilation and drilling the holes for installation, I used some longer carriage bolts than necessary.5/16 × 3 ") and tossed out of the cabinet and through the hole in the hood.". I need a washer and a nut on the bolt. I used a washer on a piece of tape to keep it on the bolt where I couldn't turn the nut, I grabbed the nut and turned the bolt. Once I have all the nuts and hand tighten them to what I can do, I will use a 10 inch extension ratchet and a gimbal for flexibility to tighten everything. My plan at the beginning was to replace each bolt with a shorter one, but when you put in the filter, they are obscured. It took me about an hour and a half to put this in. The fan worked great at low temperatures and blew my vent outside before it was even attached to my brick. The LED lights are very bright.

Great Looks, Difficult Installation
The looks are what you see in the picture: an ultra-modern-looking stainless steel range hood that blends in with your kitchen instead of a giant, hulking pyramid. Yes, the HIGH fan is loud, but there is a Q (quiet) setting, too. Anyway, it's no big deal (as far as I'm concerned) because it's not like you have the fan on for hours at a time. Difficult installation! The protective wrapping is not the thick blue plastic you find on other appliances but a (likely) sprayed-on plastic coating similar to latex paint. I spent 1-1/2 hours peeling off the protective wrapping from the chimney and one of the vent covers, and I still have two more covers to go. It's not simple to assemble (the screws go in from the bottom - little tip there). As another reviewer noted, the screws don't line up perfectly with the holes. But you can make it work. They give you a flexible foil vent. This does not meet code in most areas, so you must check your area's code first. Plan on buying your own rigid 6-inch-diameter steel vent for the stack. I do like the fact that it attaches to the wall with just two screws, allowing me to put it on and take it off easily.

Range hood
Looks great. Matches the appliances. Love the powerful suction. Like the choices of power. Lights nicely light the cook top.

Worth the price.
Overall, I’m happy with the range hood. It was easy to install. And I love the streamline look that it has. The only thing I’ve noticed is the chimney is first of all limited in how far up you can go. Which I believe is close to 30 inches. Also, it just seems not to connect to the main chimney coming off the unit itself. But I would not let my comments put aside any purchase. Eventually, I was able to make it work and it actually turned out looking really good. It also has a very good exhaust system when hooked up correctly.

The ONEEON 30” Range Hood is well-built and feels like a quality product overall. The design is slim and modern, and it doesn’t take up much space. Suction is strong at all three speeds, and while the higher settings do get louder, the low speed is quiet enough for everyday use. The LED lights are bright and actually useful for cooking, and the filters are solid—easy to clean and better than the usual flimsy aluminum ones. The only surprise to me was the chimney height—it capped at 27.5” instead of the 31” shown in the product photos. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you’re working with specific dimensions. Overall, it performs well, looks good, and feels like it’ll hold up over time.
