Can the grabbers be used in the shower with no ill effects like rusting, sticking grabber jaws or actuator cable?

I havent used in the shower.the grabber itself is rubber and plastic and the extension appears to be aluminum so I would assume so.I have used to load and unload dishwasher and have cleaned the grabber with disinfectant with no ill effects. I have used other grabbers and these are of better quality.The kit includes a shower tool for use with feet, etc.

Does it come with instructions?

I seem to recall a small leaflet with some instructions for the sock-putter-on device, but I had attended a joint replacement class in which this was demonstrated, so I did not read the instructions. All of the other items don't really need any instructions. It is now 4 weeks since my hip replacement, and I have used all of the items with success. I only needed the leg lifter once or twice, but I use the other items daily. Its a well made set.
