Wonderful product
I make my own (British) Mixed Spice for the fall season. I needed some Mace and there was none to be found in town. Not sure if anyone reading this wants the recipe but I'm here to tell you it is so much better than American pumpkin pie spice. I'll share the recipe with you. It's wonderful in all manner of baking or even to mix into cream for coffee. Homemade British Mixed Spice 1 tablespoon quality ground cinnamon 2 teaspoons ground allspice 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg 1 teaspoon ground cloves 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1 teaspoons ground coriander 3/4 teaspoon ground mace Combine all spices in an airtight glass jar and keep store in a dark cool place for up to several months. Makes about 1/4 cup of Mixed Spice.

Great for Cudighi Italian Sausage Spice Mix!
A wonderful Upper Peninsula local specialty, Cudighi sausage, requires some fresh mace to make the Italian spice mix perfect. McCormick ground mace works perfectly!

Magical, Exotic Single-Source Spice
Mace is a single-source spice derived from the waxy, lacy sheath encasing the nutmeg seed, and one which brings a magical complexity and sense of surprise to the palate. McCormick's offers this golden brown wonder dust at the best price within the Amazon Ecosystem, and in a quantity that doesn't force us to overbuy. Opening the container conjures the smell and ethereal warmth of the Holidays, but with added nuances of saffron and black pepper. It's spicier and sweeter than nutmeg, and brings elevation to a dish as a counterpoint to nutmeg's depth. Peaches and pears, light and flaky fish, chicken, pork, roasted vegetables, dairy, cookies, and cream-based soups are all prime pairings for this exotic spice. And like its nutmeg sibling, Mace is always home for The Holidays, and needs to finds its way into your booze. One of Earth's most wondrous spices, albeit one nearly forgotten in an American era of blunt force convenience foods. – (Was this review of use to you? If so, let me know by clicking "Helpful."
