I love this magnetized stand! I am using it for my Kindle because I just bought a new one and it came with the actual Amazon Kindle case which for me was a bit of a back-and-forth because there was no stand or hand strap on the inside of the case which I was used to with my older device. However, I love the case so much and decided that I really do want to keep it because of it slim profile, but the stand was an issue for me because I don’t wanna hold the book all the time. Enter this magnetized stand that I just switch off between my pop socket or this when I want to use it and it has been a lifesaver! In fact since I’ve had it, I’m not even using my pop socket anymore. I’m just automatically using the stand for hands-free reading. The magnet is SUPER strong. You do have to twist and move it to the side slightly to remove it. It is very very strong and can be difficult to remove. Which I like because I know that it’s on their good and it’s not gonna pop off. Also, I do tend to open my Kindle Book cover out to the side when I’m removing it because if I keep it folded back and try to remove it it actually powers my device on and off so move your book cover out to the side put the stand on get it into the position that you want it and then flap your cover Back to read as you normally would. I love that it’s fully adjustable all different directions. I can adjust it to my reading position just by moving the to open circular pieces. I can actually use the stand on my lap on the couch, which was important to me because I don’t always have a flat surface in front of me sometimes I’m just sitting on the couch and I have my book on my lap and I wanted the stand to work with it that way, and it does! I love, love love it. Also, it magnetizes to the front of my Kindle case without a pop socket ring for storage, so I can keep my pop socket on the ring in the center of my case cover, and then the stand automatically magnetizes to the magnet within the Kindle case because that is how strong the magnet grip is I included pictures so you can see what I’m talking about but that’s how I store it instead of having it loose separately. And I just have a pop socket ring on the inside of my case cover so that I can attach the stand to when I’m reading also included pictures of this.

I’ve had it a few months and is the second one I bought so I absolutely love it. Compared to the other ones I’ve wasted money on this one is great! Magnet is strong and it’s still nice and sturdy it hasn’t loosened up like the others I’ve tried.

Update: the manufacturer contacted me about my review, concerned that the product wasn’t everything I had hoped. They informed me that the product carries an 18 month warranty and sent me a free replacement. I have added 2 stars back to my review based on the outstanding customer service and the company’s willingness to honor their product warranty even though I didn’t ask them to. ———- When I got this, I really wanted to love it. It was exactly what I had been looking for. For about 2 weeks. Then the joints started getting loose and it began to collapse under the weight of my phone (iPhone 16e - not a monster max). Pros: It functions as a stand in multiple orientations as well as a ring to help steady it while holding. The magnet is very secure. I have to get a little torque going to disengage it from my phone case. It folds down much thinner than I thought it would, adding very little bulk to the back of the phone. Cons: joints are loose, won’t hold phone up for viewing in certain angles after a couple of weeks. This is especially bothersome when the phone is plugged in and you need it to hold the phone’s entire weight. Finish began rubbing off almost immediately, making it look a little cheap. Overall, whether you’ll like it depends on how you use it. I’m still using it, but partly because I’m too cheap to buy another one.

A+ Phone stand! When you pick it up, you feel its heft and it's got that solid 'metal' feel. Mine is a nice shiny gunmetal grey. When you attach it to your phone, there's a satisfying feeling as it snaps into place. It articulates in ways, lengths and degrees that I've never had in a phone stand. I can easily stand my phone up on my bed, a feat that's been difficult to accomplish with my previous stands. I am very impressed, I'm going to buy another. Warning: This magnet is STRONG. If you don't have a properly secured ring in your phone case, the stand magnet may rip it right off. To ensure this doesn't happen, slide the magnet off the metal ring before pulling off the phone case. Otherwise, use superglue when you put your ring back in. 😉

I absolutely love this stand, it's strong and sturdy and I use it all the time. I've been using it for over a year now, and my only complaint is that after about a year one of the hinges became too loose to hold up my phone (the other one is still holding strong though!), and eventually popped off completely on the one side, and the color has faded to a silver/copper. I don't mind the color change so much although I'd prefer if it kept the black, but this is my every day carry so it's not surprising. I've tried to find a way to contact them to honor the warranty, but it hasn't been very straight forward. I called Amazon and they sent my details to the seller so I'm waiting for a call now.

I always wanted one of these ring holders for my phone, but I didn't like the idea of gluing a permanent ring holder to my phone case. These things always interfere with car phone holders and the like. But then I saw this one, and it was exactly what I needed. My phone case doesn't have a built-in magnet, so I still had to glue on the magnet that came with the ring holder. But it's practically flat and doesn't add to the phone's thickness. The magnet on the ring holder is super strong, and you actually have to wiggle the ring holder a little to remove it from the magnet. Which is perfect - there is no way it will just randomly fall off, letting the phone crash to the floor. And the glue on the magnet is very strong as well, so it holds even when I wiggle the ring holder off. But the best part, which makes this particular ring stand out among others, is that both sides of it are magnetic - meaning that I don't have to take the ring off to put the phone on a magnetic car holder or phone stand! The ring can still come off when I need it to (for example for a clip-type phone holder), but I'll have to fiddle with it a lot less than I would with a ring holder that only has a magnet on one side. This is what makes it the best magnetic ring holder yet.

This ring holder comes with the same drawback as other double ring designs. It lacks a rotatable ring. This means if you want to rotate the ring holder, you need to move the entire magnet. In its place are two big oval rings that actually allows it to stand up like a phone stand. However as a ring holder, the large rings make it uncomfortable to use and the lack of adjustment (e.g. not being able to rotate it) makes it less easy to find the right position around the finger. While the magnet is very strong, the oval rings protrude beyond the magnet and therefore lift the magnet slightly off of the phone when it is raised perpendicular to the phone. This is a clear oversight in the design because if it were to be used in this position (ring holder), it will very likely result in a dropped phone. Unlike other branded kits, this product will not work for any phone without MagSafe nor phone cases without a magnetic ring. It doesn't come with magnetic stickers that you can apply to your phone/phone case. Overall, this product is only functional as a kick stand and based on comments, once the hinges loosen up, you lose that function too. As such, I'd probably stick to the mainstream choices before considering this one.
