I ordered this Alpha Arbutin powder to use in a DIY skincare project and was pleased with how easily it dissolved. I mixed it into a water-based serum, and the powder incorporated smoothly without clumping or leaving behind any visible particles. The final mixture is lightweight and liquid in consistency.I've been using the serum for a few days and have not experienced any redness, burning, stinging, or irritation. It's still far too early for me to evaluate long-term results, but my skin has tolerated it well so far.One thing I appreciated was the packaging. The bottle arrived with a foil freshness seal under the cap, which gave me confidence that the product was unopened and properly sealed.The included instructions were surprisingly thorough. It also came with a comprehensive set of instructions that includes recipes for masks, serum, face cream, and general guidance when adding alpha arbutin to toners, essence, sunscreen, and lotion.My only minor criticism is that the example recipes don't specify the container sizes they are intended to fill. As a result, there is a little guesswork involved when selecting bottles or jars for a project.So far, the powder has been easy to work with, dissolves well, and appears to be a quality ingredient for DIY skincare formulations.

They literally sent an expired product!

The powder is very fine and dissolves well with either lotion or cream. My hyperpigmentation is getting lighter and my skin tone is getting more even and brighter. I use it for my face and hand and the result is satisfactory. Highly recommend.

I added this powder to my toner, which I have in a spray bottle and use between steps in my nighttime skin care, as a setting spray and just to rehydrate my face during the day.The ingredient has a brightening effect, which is helpful for older skin that looks dull and has hyperpigmentation. And the bag will last a long time since you only mix in 1-2 percent of what ever fluid or cream you are using. You can also mix this into face masks but haven’t tried that yet.
