the reliable, solid connection and fit of the 30-pin dock connector
I grabed this third-party version of the old iPhone/iPod 30-pin charging cable, figuring it’d be the usual hit or miss stuff you get with replacements for these vintage things. Boy was I pleasently surprised! Right out of the pakage it looks and feels pretty premium. Nice clean white finish, pakaging thats almost as good as what Apple used to do, and no cheap plasticy smell or flimsy feel at all. The cable is nice and thick, sturdy enough to just toss in the car console, my pocket or bag and not worry about it fraying or breaking after a couple months of everyday use. The real standout though is the dock conector. It slides in with that satisfying solid click you remember from the real Apple ones. No wobble, no having to force it, just locks in place nice and secure. Honestly it might even fit better then some of my older worn out official cables (probly cause this one is brand new and hasn’t been beat up yet lol). Charging and syncing works perfect, no dropping connection or wierd error messages. If your still using an iPhone 4/4S, older iPad, iPod Touch or Classic and need a solid replacement that doesnt feel like a cheap downgrade, this is a winner. Durible, well made, and worth every penny. Highly recomend for anyone trying to keep those classic devices going!
