I actually bought this not for a child but to use to play with my dog. It's pretty durable because she's managed to not destroy it and it works really well, easy to control and if it flips over it's no big deal because of the way it works.

My neice loved this for her birthday it wizzes around so fast and can just flip itself off objects so even a smaller child can pretty much direct it anywhere and it won't get stuck. Extra battery was nice aswell

We sent this back for a full refund due to the battery lasting less than a full minute. It is very sturdy and does a good job of staying standing when being driven into doors and flipping upside down but unfortunately the battery left us very disappointed.
