High quality item, made to lasr
These HexClad nonstick pans were a Christmas gift for my husband. He loves these pans and how they evenly cook. These pans are. Heavy duty and are high quality. They are easy to clean and are worth the investment. As soon as he started cooking with these pans it became clean that these pans would last a long time. We actually tossed out our old beat up pans and will only use HexClad. At first I thought they were pricy but after using them they are worth the money.

Not worth more than 4/6 months
I really want to like this hexclad skillet. I use it day in day out. First month was good, slowly it started sticking on same food that I have used before during first month. Now I have to use little more oil to keep up with non stick feature. Heat distribution is even, no complains on that. I always made sure to use it on medium heat. Always hand washed, never used stainless steel utensils. Took good care of my investment on this expensive skillet. After 6 months or so, it ended up like burnt skillet that is no more useful. Anything and everything is sticking. If I do math, I would buy any inexpensive skillet for about $30/$40 and that would last me probably same around 6 months, I would buy atleast 4 skillet for the same price that would last for 2 years and new skillet every 6 months. This skillet doesn’t justify the hefty price just for 6 months. Hexclad I feel is just a hype and nothing else. I would look for other options.

Performance – Heats evenly, truly nonstick, doesn’t peel or scratch, and works on all cooktops
I couldn’t be happier with this purchase! The HexClad Hybrid Nonstick 12-Inch Frying Pan with Tempered Glass Lid is absolutely worth the price. I’ve wasted a lot of money on other pans in the past, and if I had found this one sooner, I would have saved myself so much frustration and cash. The quality is outstanding—it heats evenly, the nonstick surface truly works without peeling or scratching, and the stay-cool handle makes it comfortable to use. I also love that it’s dishwasher-friendly, oven-safe up to 900°F, and works perfectly on induction as well as my other cooktops. On top of that, the seller responded to me right away, which gave me extra confidence in the purchase. Overall, this pan has exceeded my expectations in every way. Highly recommended!

Great Griddle and you get what you pay for
Very slick, when you follow the guide for seasoning the result is a super non-stick surface that requires two utensils for the average person to keep food from sliding off the edges. The griddle has very good heating properties, and is mostly even heating in the center of the pan on long edge. The edges about 1.5 to 2 inches from each edge heat and cook but not as hot as the center section. Also, its very very slightly rounded or higher in the middle so that all the oil/grease runs to the outside, and since the edges are not as hot, this prevents that oil/grease from burning while cooking to completion. I’ve used it at least 8 times since buying and like the fact that I can cook 8-10 strips of bacon at one time. Cooking tuna steaks on it was great and they cooked to perfection. Timing completion of meat cooking and then starting eggs, with no change in temp, was a breeze to get both done at the same time. Follow the instructions! You don’t need as much heat on this griddle as with frying pans!

My 3rd HexClad
This time a bought the 12" griddle pan and like all my other HexClad's I love it. I bought it for pancakes or french toast or grilled cheese type things, and I haven't made grilled cheese on it yet, but I'm sure there's room for 4 sandwiches at a time. I find the bad reviews a little confusing because I have had such good luck with mine and makes me think that others aren't using the pan properly. I usually always stay below med heat, which is what HexClad tells you, and I think a big part is I always spray the pan with Pam before I use for sticky things like pancakes. I turn the heat on med-low and let it pre-heat and then use one of those laser temperature readers to see what the the temp is, and I'm looking for about 250 degrees or so, and then if I'm doing pancakes or french toast I'll spray it and go ahead and make them, and they don't stick at all, in fact you can sometimes shake the pan a little and they'll slide around. When your done you could almost just wipe it out with a paper towel, but I put mine in the dishwasher.
