Model V3 – Apple iPad Carrying Case & Tablet Stand for 9.7 Inch 2017 iPads Generation 5 & 6 / Air 1 & 2 w/Kickstand, Stylus Holder & Shoulder Strap, Protective Black Ballistic Nylon

We have bought 4 of these total-1 of the original models each for our nonverbal twin sons that use iPad Airs as speech-generating devices, and now one each of these updated versions.The old version was just a touch weak on the connection point where the strap hooks onto the case. It broke on one side of one case.This newer version appears stronger in all materials, but still super lightweight and nice looking. The pen/stylus holder is a nice new touch, but we were really hoping for just a tiny bit of rubber or plastic on each of the corners for protection. Just setting the device down & picking it up repeatedly can be tough on corners.This is the ONLY product out there that met our requirements, though -& we have looked everywhere! It had to have:*A comfortable strap that could be worn cross-body* A cover that both protects the screen when not in use and turns the device off when closed/on when opened (magnetic closure)* LIGHT enough to keep it easy to carry ALL day* Secure hold on the iPad.* It needed to have a 'professional' or academic look -not silly or childish (our guys are young adults and don't need a babyish case)I intend to try to use some black Sugru to try to add the tiniest bit of corner protection. Other than that, it is great.

I ordered four of these for my workplace. We bought these to be used when we are conducting surveys. So, we specifically wanted a case that could be worn crossbody style, so we wouldn't have to worry about our ipads being laid down on a table and stolen. This way even if not in use, the ipads could still be worn and accounted for, while our hands could be free for other activities. We also liked that there is an option to remove the strap when it's not needed, so in the office when it is used for social media and educational purposes, it just looks and acts like a regular case. This is a versatile and well made product that I would recommend to others. My co-workers have also been happy with this product, which is a relief, I don't think that they originally understood why I was searching for a case with a strap, but since we have been using the cases, they realize that the strap is perfect for situations when we are working outside our office and interacting with the public.

I use this case for work so I use it a lot. It has a very powerful magnet that when open, attaches the cover to back. I have to pry it apart with my fingernails in order to close it and there is no tab unlike the previous model. I can already tell that the edge of the front cover is starting to fatigue and it will lose its hardness at the point where I have to pry it apart in order to close it. This may not be an issue if you don't use it a lot. It looks to me that the mfgr. put very little effort into the design of this new model. It sucks.

This is a great case to protect your iPad. The case is so versatile, and I use it all the time. I use my iPad daily and have tried several different iPad cases over the years, but this one has been my favorite. It is very durable and provides protection for my iPad from inevitable daily bumps. It fits my iPad perfectly. I also especially like the strap which makes it really convenient when you’re out and about and need quick access to the iPad. This is the case to conveniently carry and use your iPad anywhere. I highly recommend it.

So happy I bought this case!! I use my iPad daily for work and have been through several different cases but this is by far my favorite. First and foremost it is very durable. While my iPhone currently has a cracked screen, my iPad has been dropped several times and still in perfect condition thanks to this case. I also use my iPad for presentations with customers frequently and I really like the look of this case. It is a nice textured material that looks professional without being boring. The cutout in the case for the camera makes doing expenses super quick and simple because it allows me to take photos of my receipts and scan them without having to remove the case to take the picture like I did with previous cases. One of the most unique features is the strap. Since I normally carry a bag I didn't realize I would like using the strap as much as I do. I realize that being hands free while having access to the iPad at my fingertips without having to rummage through a large bag has saved me time and been very useful. All in all this was a great purchase and well worth the investment. Delivery was quick!

Fell apart after a few weeks of use while traveling. I had a similar cover, carrying case that lasted many years of use when traveling. I use this style of cover slash carrying case when traveling, as it allows me to have it around my neck or over my shoulder securely. This one’s strap parted way with the case. Luckily, I caught the iPad in time to prevent its destruction.
