Fish and Not Fish: Level 3

I really enjoyed this book when I was in elementary school and wanted to get it for my children so we can work on reading and comprehension. We have read it a few times but I feel like it doesn't hold as much attention to my 3 year old as some of the later books do. My 3 year old enjoys the textbooks that are more for the 4th and 5th grade reading level better than this one despite the big words and pictures. I think the language is too basic. With that being said, when my child begins reading, I think it will be great to come back to this book to recognize words and to be able to read basic sentences.

My favorite readers series from 1st grade in the 1980's. I love the bright pages and fun stories. I remembered almost all of them and was excited to have my kids reading them this last school year. They loved playing school with them too!
