Wide Prairie

I purchased the album after sampling some of the songs. I found the songs I sampled to be charming and whimsical. I was not disappointed after listening the whole way through. These songs are not only delightful, Linda's vocals on the title track are amusing. I cracked up when I first heard the song, with the back country vocal twang...very clever. I also love "Oriental Nightfish" for the same reason. I think her vocal performance is very good on this album. I find the lyrics to be charming. With the polished, superb musicianship of Paul and other members of Wings along with her own keyboards, this turned out to be a fine album. Linda's personality really comes through in "I Got Up" and "The White Coated Man" (a song that has special meaning to me). Paul did a fine job compiling this album. Glad I found out about this gem of a record.

Lindas lp was quietly released by Paul after her death . It is what it is and no more or less . Not for the casual Paul fan , but absolutely the finest public tribute he could have paid her . Im glad to own a copy finally .

This CD is getting harder to find. A great part of any McCartney collection.

Wonderful collection of songs by Sir Paul's late wife. She bore her burdens with a smile in her heart.

A re-release of this LP. Being married to Paul wasn't bad for her music. Sounds very good.

Love this Album

This album is under rated. It has a lot of good music on it and Linda McCartney has a lovely voice.
