I have a 30yr old ACL injury coming back to haunt me as I decided to pick up pickleball. My brain still thinks I'm 20 but my bones insist otherwise. I tried several of the normal elastic braces but they did near nothing for support. I remembered the post-surgery brace I'd had after my acl and how it had metal stabilizer bars and hinges. after a short search I found the neenca brand. Its a bit more than the others butnis worth funding. It doesnt completely eliminate my concerns but certainly mitigates a lot of stress, mental and physical. It is a well made product with large strong staps. The metal hinges are well built, with no plastic gears but are behind a plastic cover. It's comfortable and when I'm playing I dont notice it. If you have a problem with hyper extension this brace may not serve your need. It does allow full movement and is designed to provide lateral support. That said, a clever person could probably figure a way to restrict the gear movement. Also, order a size bigger than the fitment chart. I ordered a large, I'm 5-11 200lb and I dont have fat knees. It fits more tight than loose. If this ever does wear out, I'll be ordering another.

The brace seems like good quality and the material feels sturdy, but the sizing did not work for me as a plus size woman. I followed the measurement chart exactly and my thigh measurement matched the size I ordered. Even so, the brace was too big through the knee and calf area. It slid down, gapped on the sides, and the hinges did not line up with my knee the way they should. The shape simply did not match my body proportions, even though the thigh section fit correctly. I ordered the next size down and that one arrived with a tear in the seam, which was disappointing. I added photos so other shoppers can see it. I still think this brace could work very well for many people, but the sizing chart should be clearer for plus size buyers. It is not a one-shape-fits-all design and the taper through the knee and calf runs much wider than expected. If you are plus size, you may need to size down or consider a different style.

This knee brace is wonderful and has been a huge help. The material is incredibly soft and comfortable against the skin, even if you wear it for a long time. Important Tip: I highly recommend ordering one size bigger than you usually would, as they seem to run a bit small. Once you have the right size, the fit and support are perfect!

I've worn these for 5 days skiing. they stay in place, which was a problem with other brands. It was recommended that you size up 1 size which I did. I ware mine over long johns, they were snug but not tight. Very comfortable and flexible with the hinge system. They are a little bulky so if you ware something over them it will need extra room, usually not a problem with ski ware. My knees felt good after skiing, I think they help take pressure off the knee joint. I would definitely recommend these to friends.

This is a nice solid brace that provides excellent support for my medial meniscus tear. Unfortunately, something about the fabric digs into my skin and has caused a rash/allergic reaction with daily use. I tries fitting it over clothing and that helped a bit with the irritation but caused it to not fit perfectly. I wish there was a way to get it to stop digging into my skin, but I'm going to have to look for alternatives long term. If you're looking for something to use occasionally or don't need a tight fit then this will probably work well for you.

This knee brace seems very functional, durable, stablility is supportive, fairly easy to get on a leg with no socks and does copress the leg/knee area. It does stretch as long as the velcro straps are not attached. Unfortunately I had to return mine due to the size being too small to reach the knee or stay in place. I followed the size chart and recommended size purchase to the tee, along with being a small person with thin to average legs would definatlel suggest buyers purchase the next larger size from size recommendations.

I really like this knee brace! It is very comfortable to wear for a long period of time. The Velcro seems super durable and it is easy to customize the size to your specific fit for the right level of compression. I would only take away a point for the breathability of the overall brace. While it is fairly cool, it has been a harsh Winter, and I just cannot imagine wearing this in the summer for long stretches of time.
