I primarily use these on PC for gaming, and the sound quality is genuinely excellent — very clean and detailed. I also have the Arctis Nova 1, which already sounds good for a wired headset, but this is clearly a step above. Comfort has been great even in longer 4–5 hour sessions. No pressure points or fatigue, which matters more than I expected at this price. The hot-swappable battery system is a standout feature and one of the main reasons I bought these. Being able to swap batteries instead of constantly plugging in makes a big difference in day-to-day use. The base station exists mostly for setup in my case — I don’t interact with it much after that. The biggest downside is price. Like a lot of SteelSeries gear, it’s expensive, and you really need to be someone who will take advantage of what it offers. If you’re just looking for decent sound, there are cheaper options that will get you most of the way there. That said, if you want strong wireless performance, great sound, and the convenience of the battery system, this is a very solid headset.

Headphones are a little complex but very nice once you get used to it. The Audio Quality is superb, and never had anyone complain about the microphone quality either. the Headphones are a good size, weight light, and are very comfortable to wear. The wireless headphones have a simulated eternal battery life. You have two batteries, one you put in your head phones, the other you keep inside the docking station. When your battery gets low, you simply switch the batteries. No more needing to worry charging your headphones. It's been durable and great for me so far using it for a few months now. Probably the best headphones i've had.

Pleased with these headphones overall! The active nose cancellation performs well, and though I'm no audiophile, the sound quality is perfectly serviceable. I find it especially performs better than my old Corsair Voids in lower frequency ranges, and though I haven't had a real chance to try the spatial sound, it seems to work well in a controlled test. I like having a display showing the batteries' change levels and quick access to some controls without needing to go into the software, but I do miss the analog controls on my old Arctis 7 Wireless. The battery life is maybe below average, but the so-called infinite battery life system of Having Two Of Them mostly mitigates that annoyance along with the display showing the charge levels. Took a little practice but I can do the swap without taking the headphones off now. One feature I was pleased to discover is the ability to simultaneously connect to the wireless adapter and Bluetooth! I use this to watch streams on my PC while playing on my Steam Deck and get audio from both seamlessly mixed, something quite annoying to achieve otherwise. Maybe a niche use case, but it's one I personally run into a lot. Very cool! What I don't like are the stock earpads and some of the software functionality. The stock pads I found immediately uncomfortable, and bought third-party replacements right away. I sadly recommend anyone buying these do the same. I loved the analog chat mix on my old Arctis 7, and was always apprehensive of replacing them because of the newer headphones using a software-based approach instead. And unfortunately I've found that the ChatMix function through GG to be very flaky, most often the feature is disabled in the app and I can't access it by pressing the volume wheel. It's probably something with my software configuration, but it is disappointing to lose the immediate access found on the older headphones. You can change the wireless mode to prioritize speed or range, though the range is a little less than I've gotten with other wireless headphones. This is probably partly due to needing the dongle thing accessible instead of putting it where it'll give me better range, but worth mentioning. When the signal starts to give out, it just puts out whatever garbled data it's put back together, which I personally prefer to just cutting out, but some might find it unpleasant.

Start with Pros, -Pull out mic is an ok gimmick convenience, and stops my cat and bird from having a "toy" mounted to my head they want to get at(boom mic). -Speaker/line out, in speaker mode output turns off when headphones are turned on, and on when the head phones turn off. Down side if you replace the battery sound will momentarily go through speakers, should have the same 8 second delay when the battery is pulled without the power button being pressed just like the headset itself does for its "hot swap" feature. Nice, not perfect. If set to Stream then the output is always on, good option. -Second battery, nice touch but not a deal break and with any other headphones I just plug them into usb when they're running low, not a big deal to be wired for the hour they take to charge to good enough for a days use. That said if this is even part of why the price is so high, get rid of it! One battery already lasts 25 hours! this is just a gimmick. Cons -Fit, they are fairly comfortable, but there are no marks on the ear cup's slide out arms to get them even, making getting a balanced feeling fit tough. Also they slide off pretty easy, any somewhat quick head movement or just tilting my head back to take a drink off coffee and they need to be readjusted. -Ear Cup Size, they are a touch small in the length. Compared these to other over ears I have access to Sennheiser, Astros, Bose, Sony and a couple really old turtle beach models, theses are the smallest ear cups, I have a very average size head/ears for where I live, US. They are just a tiny bit too short for me to be completely comfortable. -Sound consistency/seal, goes with the fit just turning my head I can hear the difference in the seal over my ears making for a very unbalanced sound. Also means the sound is very inconsistent, they sound a little different every time I put them on needing an eq adjustment. -Sound overall, when eq'ed and fitting perfect. Not bad but also not good for this price range which is why its in the cons, this is the sound I'd expect in headsets 1/4 the cost. Can be explained a bit by the wireless version not having 96/24bit that the wired version has. Sound stage is also bad, but they are closed back so that is expected and a bit of a wash. -Anc Hybrid Mic, is a bump inside the center of the ear cup, right now its not an issue but with time as the ear cushions compress a bit and as other have mentioned, it can press into the ear, I had read that this had been redesigned but it seems it wasn't removed, just made a little smaller. Did a little search and I do have the version with the smaller anc "nub" but they are still going to need after market ear pads to stay comfortable. ANC nub clearly looks to be an afterthought and just slapped in place, that or there was zero real world testing, maybe both. -Anc Pressure, I thought we were done with this problem. This is the old old style anc that causes preasure on you ears/in your head. This is very annoying for anyone that deals with headaches. The anc helps with sound induced headaches a tiny a bit, but the ear pressure causes more headaches then the anc stops. It can also make me dizzy, not fun. -Anc Strength, on top of that the anc is rather weak, and does almost nothing for higher frequencies, while it is tougher for anc to handle high frequencies, modern algorithms/anc can do it, this especially annoying when they have a mic in the center of the ear cup that's specifically meant to help with this. It will get rid of low fan rumble but not any sort of coil whine or keyboard sounds, extremely annoying considering my old head phones did well with both those sounds. -Noise, when the anc is on the noise floor is higher then expected, meaning some detail in then sound is loss, its not much and not bad, but should be mentioned as other anc headphones don't do this to the same extant. -Hot, they are fake leather ear pads so they get annoyingly hot, not sure if the designers didn't realize or more likely, marketing doesn't care. Fake leather does NOT breath, either use real leather or cloth, on cheap headsets, you get what you get but these being SteelSeries's high end I would expect more attention to details like that. At the very least should include both cloth and faux leather pads for this price. -Mic, the retractable mic also has a con, it requires 2 hands for me to retract it back into the ear cup and every time you pull it out to use, you have to re bend it to the right spot because of the way its stored around the earcup. This ends up with my old flip up mics looking a little worse but working way better. -Mic sound, just ok, better than non-boom mics but my old cheap mod mic sounds much much better. For this price and use case these are designed for, again I expect better. Overall, Mediocre sounds quality, mediocre mic quality for a boom, very bad anc, lots of anc ear pressure, hot and sweaty ear cups. Lots of gimmick features to pad the price without making for a better sounding headset.

Use to be a Logitech Girly now here im lol. It did take a wee bit to adjust but I can hear things just as much if not better than my Logi G933s Artimis. I really love the swapping batteries because I HATE cords. Sometimes I do have very long gaming sessions during the weekend so I sometimes kill the battery while gaming in an intense situation and can finish what im doing quick and swap it out once the situation is taken care of. I also like the sonar app that it has you download so you can fine tune the headset even more!! Now the range for the headset I feel like might be a little short but overall love it!

This is my third arctis headset and now that I've had some time with it, I feel confident in saying that in some ways it's my favorite and in others, it's been a big step back. Pros - comfy, nice heft without being too heavy, relatively good sound quality, modular, good battery life. Cons - the wireless connectivity is subpar, especially at this price point. Takes longer than the others to turn on and connect. It does the weirdest things sometimes, the audio quality will just drop off of a cliff and have an undercurrent of static, and sometimes they just start blaring static out of nowhere giving me a jump scare. Honestly my experience has been not worth the price point, I'll wait for them to sort out whatever issues are going on before buying a steelseries again.

These headphones blow my cloud 2 out of the water. I usually stay away from wireless pc accesories but figured i should try these. The volume is loud and sound is excellent. The eq makes your personal prefrence easy to obtain. they come with 2 batteries, you can have one charging and one in the headset, it even lets you hotswap them if you are fast. I am not the most tech savy person so I still havent used all the features. I do have it bluetooth hooked up to my phone and pc at same time so if i get a call while gaming i hit a button and it answers it. I highly recommend this headset if you are willing to spend the extra money compared to other brands, you get what you pay for.

This is my completely 100% honest review after almost 3 months of use. Getting this out of the way right now, this headset is NOT worth the money that you are spending for it. Sometimes you are going to see this headset on "sale" and its marked off at around 60-100 dollars from its "original" price at 380. This is exactly what made me get this headset, but PLEASE..... do not let this happen to you as well, because I promise you it is NOT even worth 200 dollars to me, let alone the marked off price after the sale which is typically a small amount. This headset works like any ordinary headset. Its sound quality is just like any ordinary headset. You can get the same "immersive" sound quality from a headset worth 50-100 dollars, trust me on this because I have owned and used PLENTY of headsets before. However, the sound quality is not what made me take time out of my already busy day to write this review (that i typically don't even do for headsets), its actually what the headset provides you for the price you are paying. The whole headset relies on a third party software from steelseries itself to basically provide you with the extra "features" that you are paying for. Well, this third party software is complete bogus. It is completely dogs***. It is so horrible that you're WAY better off just getting a headset that works without having to use any other software. First of all, this software is really buggy, ALL THE TIME. When I turn on the headset to use, I have to always manually change the output to the headphones when it is literally the only output I have so that I can start hearing sound. I shouldn't have to do that EVERY TIME I TURN THE HEADPHONES ON if im gonna pay 300+ dollars for a headset. Not to mention all of the equalizer presents don't even work, and there is no difference in how you are hearing the sound either way. The quality of this headset is also horrible for what you are paying. This material feels like cheap plastic, and overall the headset was probably designed in an effortless way as well. I don't know why steelseries decided to do this kind of design, but I kid you not it is not the ideal design. The connection to the earcups SHOULD NOT be one small connection that leads to the side of the earcup, it should be a direct bigger connection. As a result of this, the headset unfortunately fell off my desk and broke instantly, which upset me even more. Now I have a wobbly earcup that hangs on because of the cord and does not surround my ear well. I know this isn't the fault of the manufacturer, but c'mon. A 300+ dollar headset should NOT break that easily. Spend your hard earned money on another headset that is actually worth the money. Any wired one is perfect. Any low cost multiple channel headset is also perfect if you have multiple consoles. I recommend brands like logitech, razer, hyperx, or even astros if you have money to splurge. But once again, this headset is NOT WORTH what it costs, not even on sale.

Been using these headphones for a year or two now and they're still holding up great. The mic wasn't quite to standard, it's quite muffled and not great quality, but it gets a bit better when you start messing with the equalizer and such in the steelseries app, I ended up getting a separate mic. The sound is pretty good and the batteries last a day or two of 9hr gaming sessions before needing to swap and it's easy and fast to do so.

Excellent sound, and microphone performs well. However, the removeable sections where the battery is placed can easily scratch causing aesthetic issues. No other complaints overall!

Gostando muito do produto, a redução de ruído é muito boa, moro em frente a uma rua muito movimentado e barulhento, abafa tudo, incrível. A versão branca é linda, necessitando um cuidado diário com a limpeza. A qualidade do som em jogos e a imersão é algo que nunca tinha ouvido, maravilhoso. Recomendo demais, os benefícios são tantos em relação a outros fones que vale o valor. Confortável.

Me encanto el sonido, me encantan que traigan una pila extra para nunca perder tiempo cargandolos, son bastantes livianos y parecen son bastante comodos pero cuando te los colocas pero despues de unos minutos usandolos se calientan demaciado la parte de las orejas y eso la verdad si molesta muchisimo!, adicional a este producto compre las almoadillas que se supone que estan un poco menos calientes ya que son de gel, y un asi se sienten calientes la verdad si vas a estar mucho tiempo con ellos sin un aire acondicionado arriba de frio de lo normal no lo recomiendo..
