Quality, alongside competitive pricing
Lightweight, but still quality item. I’ve not got many Ox Tools, but I do find myself purchasing more and more, for their robustness and competitive pricing.

Sliding bevel is good but the level is miles off and not convinient to use.

Okay but not a precision tool
The angle gauge markings are not big enough to set it to a target angle with any accuracy, but it works well to set it an angle of a thing you already have. The screw to lock the angle doesn't let you lock it 100% firm and I unintentionally nudged the angle I had set a couple of times so you have to be careful with it.

Winkelschmiege von Ox Tools für ca. 11 Euro - was taugt das? Für mich habe ich die Antwort gefunden: nicht viel. Laut Packungsaufdruck „Made in China“, dass muss aber noch nichts heißen. Das gute Stück verfügt über einen einfachen Plastikgriff und bei dem Preis kann man sicherlich auch nicht mehr erwarten. Der Griff macht aber einen recht stabilen Eindruck. Die Skala des kurzen Lineals stimmt (getestet mit einem Klasse I Maßband). Die beiden im Griff eingelassenen Libellen stimmen dagegen beide nicht. Die Stellschraube ist schwergängig und - das ist mein Hauptkritikpunkt - das Lineal lässt sich nicht richtig feststellen. So fest angezogen wie möglich wird es zwar schwergängig, ich kann es aber noch bewegen. Das darf nicht sein wenn ich einen präzisen Winkel abnehmen will.
