Good size and well built, would have preferred if it switches off automatically when done, instead it beeps and puffs none stop until you run out of the shower and switch it off. I found the water settings confusing, it requires more water to boil two eggs and less water to boil 4 or more. But we tried all it works really well. Kids love it.

6months review - I bought this because it's a Philips brand and thought it would be reliable, but it has been nothing but a pain in the behind. First problem is it doesn't turn off automatically, you have to wait untill it starts beeping to turn it off, unlike the black and decker one. 2. Everything is burning hot once the eggs are done, you can't even open the cover without wearing gloves, now I have to sit and wait for the plastic cover to cool down. A handle to open it would be much useful. 3. It's difficult to clean, besides the cover and the holder being difficult to clean, the base starts to turn yellow and dose not get cleaned, you have to scrape it really hard with a metal scrub and scrape of the yellow layer or it doesn't boil the water. 4. It stopped boiling the eggs after a few months because the base started to get yellow, it's difficult to clean it because the manual says only to wipe it with a cloth or you risk damaging the electronic. But wiping it is not enough, the product has stopped doing what its supposed to only after a few months, this is not what I expected from Philips product.

If you lift the plastic lid after boiling the eggs, you almost burn yourself on the steam or the heat that is transferred to the lid. In any case, the very light device, which is almost entirely made of light, cheap plastic, offers little comfort. You can switch it on or off. It all depends on the amount of water. However, you can also boil eggs uncovered. I would have expected a little more from such a brand. I probably wouldn't buy it again.

I have been greatly enjoying boiled eggs cooked with this egg cooker. Can boil up to 6 eggs or poach up to 3 eggs. Comes with a measuring cup that has a needle at the base for puncturing eggs (make them cook faster). You need to use oil or similar on the tray for poached eggs so they don't stick to the tray. Cooks eggs in 3 min to 10 min depending on how runny you want the yolk. There is a loud alarm that sets off automatically when eggs are cooked. Sleek design. Cooks the perfect egg. Amazing value for money. Easy to use and comes with instruction booklet. Less water added = shorter timer & more runny egg.

Very cool product it boiled eggs like magic just the only disadvantage is no auto switch off after done. But I still recommend it 10/10
