So far so good... *UPDATE*
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The item is as advertised. Setting it up took only 20-40 minutes and it just depends on how fast you decide to work. All you have to do is attach the axle/wheels, the handles, and fill it with the proper fluids (oil and gasoline) and *Poof!* ...you're up and running. I had absolutely no issues using the key to start it, and it fired up the first time right out of the box. I filled it with 5 gallons of fuel and I'm giving it a full shakedown until the fuel runs out. So far no issues and the power output looks good and steady. I subtracted one star because it's pretty LOUD! Inside my home with the windows closed it's mildly audible. From the sidewalk you can definitely hear it. No big deal considering it's basically emergency equipment.I've included some pictures and a short video, please note that the tires are NOT air filled but are instead rubber block tires.I ordered this on the Friday before Hurricane Sandy and it arrived the following Thursday at noon. It would have arrived that Tuesday had it not been for the Hurricane. My next step is to get a transfer switch and have my local electrician install an outdoor receptacle. I feel ready for what ever may come our way this winter.[***UPDATE***]On the day it arrived I did an initial extended test run and a few months later a maintenance check. My initial shakedown was a 36 hour long test of the generator and it performed flawlessly! I apologize to my neighbors! THEN 4 months later I performed a maintenance check and I noticed that most of the oil had in fact leaked out since my initial shakedown. It was below the low level, so I refilled it and added some oil system sealant as a precaution. I then ran the generator for 2 hours and put a little fuel stabilizer in the last remaining 1/2 gallon or so of fuel. That was 3 months ago.Severe storms knocked the power out yesterday evening at 5pm. I arrived home and got my cords ready and checked the oil.... FULL no leaks. The battery had died because I forgot to disconnect it while it sat for 3 months, that was my fault. So, I had to hand crank it...Three pulls and CHUG CHUG CHUG... ROWARRRRRRRR!!!It worked without a hitch and powered the house (A/C and all) until the wee-hours of the morning when power was restored. I didn't try to dry clothes or clean dishes, but it was as if nothing had happened outside! This is my experience with it... I have NO complaints about this generator.

Don't loose your cool or your heat.
Haven't needed to use this yet but shipping was fast. All parts and even Plugs came with. You do need to buy your own wire and one of the handles was bent out of kilter (looks like the weld is crooked). Other than that it was a pretty good deal. Have Double Duty for this. Use at home and on the road camping. A must have for ANY home. Plenty big enough to run Central air/heat and few other items at same time.

Now I can't get parts!
I ordered this device in November of 2011. Leaked oil immediately so I replaced the seals. Summer of 2012 we lost power for a week. It ran great for 5 days then just stopped. Sent in for service at Sears. The repaired it. I test ran it, under a load, for about 60 minutes when I got it back and every other month there after. Seemed to be okay. In February of this year we were expecting a storm and a power outage so I pulled it out and started it. It ran for 10 minutes and stopped. We didn't loose power thank goodness. I sent it again to Sears who has just today informed me that they can't get the required parts (carb and over head something or another). When it ran it was great but not very dependable. I would look elsewhere.

Hopeful
Delivery was a bit of a hassle but I like the generator so far. I had to pick it up at the freight company because they could not deliver to my house. That was ok. They are 20min from where i work and they loaded it into my pickup for me. I installed the wheel kit in my truck bed and rolled it down my ramps at home. Might be a problem if you don't have a pickup and ramps. From reading other reviews, I knew it came with no oil. I was ready for that. Filled it with oil and I was ready to go. The battery was charged (happy) and i had no trouble starting it. I let it idle a bit then plugged in my air compressor. It kicked right in and filled the compressor. When the compressor shut off the generator idled down like it was supposed to. turned it up for a little while to charge the battery then shut it down. No oil leaks yet. We'll find out next time the power goes out. Until then everything is great.
