Great Product For Price
works as it should, small size and accurate description, tested with a multimeter and output is extremely accurate as well

Good for hobbyists
I'm just a hobbyist so I'm sure that if I were trying to use this professionally I would have some different requirements, but for just powering random circuits it works great. The controls are kind of weird, but usable once you figure it out. It's difficult to see the labels on each knob because they're blocked by the knob itself. They should've honestly just had pushbuttons or something, the knobs make it more difficult to use.The "settings" are completely unintuitive and the manual is difficult to understand in places, but you can silence the beeping if you want. This setting seems to get saved even if you unplug it so that's good because I don't want to have to ever read the manual again. It comes with a set of leads with alligator clips but you might want to get a separate pair because they feel very cheap. The power cord it comes with is short but it's just a regular IEC cord you probably have a dozen of lying around. The USB plugs are always powered whether the output is on or not, in case you were wondering.

Promising Fun! Be Responsible!
Useful for testing the functionality of small electronics and diagnosing power-related issues. Allows for fine tuning of both amperage and voltage with over current protection for peace of mind. It's a modestly-sized unit and doesn't take up too much space. The power cord is detachable and uses one of the standard appliances NEMA cords. The leads are a little loose when plugged into the unit, but maybe that's by design. Added ground if desired. Leads feel to be of good quality and have ample length. Interface is easy to use.NOTE: The knobs are also buttons! For some bonus, includes fast charging USB capabilities built into the front which I guess is a nice tough though not necessary.

Worked fine until it exploded, manufacturer replaced it.
Worked fine until it had a tiny explosiin. Even with the over current protection, when two ends of the supply touched each other, the power supply broke down and stopped working. Fuse was burned. I changed the fuse, the new fuse also burned even without turning the output on.The manufacturer replaced the unit with a new one and so far the new one is working fine.

Just get it ! Worth every penny !
This variable supply is great. I should have bought it long ago. Stable, easy to read, a quality tool.

Excellent design
Functions at a high level, controls give finite adjustment of both voltage and current. No visible test LED flicker at low current levels, runs cool at normal power levels, fan stay off until more then 50 watts is used. Like the GND banana post, wish it came with a flat jumper to connect to the NEG post, but a wire works just fine. Lots of features, great value for the $.

very accurate voltage
*** edited to add ***Oct 19th 2024I pulled out the power supply to test a linear actuator. The power supply blew up. This is now the second one to do so. This one had no buzzing sound, it just failed on the initial surge current to the 12 Volt motor.A power supply needs to be reliable. Failing on normal operation is a manufacturing problem if it happens the same way to different power supplies.I can no longer recommend this at all.As promised, if the second one failed I'm updating my review.I'm changing my review to 1 star. Cannot depend on it.My other power supply from a different manufacturer has worked far longer and under worse conditions without any issues. My reliable power supply is a Kungber (old style without the battery charging mode) SPS3010 and it has not let me down. It is just a few dollars more right here on Amazon and a far more reliable product.***********************The first unit I had blew a fuse while testing the short circuit protection. Went out with a bang, dimmed the lights and made bad smells. It also buzzed a lot while delivering current so I'm thinking it had loose transformer windings and other issues. It was returned and the new one was tried the same way. This time, no noise, no blowing fuses and it just worked.I already have two variable power supplies of different types at home. At work I have some serious supplies, 12kW 0-400V AC/DC and arbitrary waveform with multiple phases. So I'm not a novice when it comes to power supplies. This unit is extremely accurate for voltage. It can be seen that it is not far off 1 LSB on my multimeter most of the range. The error is just as likely to be the meter as the supply. It has not been calibrated. The display on this unit is easy to read. The values are easy to adjust. I personally do not need the level of accuracy that this supply provides. I will stress that I have not tested it under load conditions, though that should make little difference to the readings. It is light, good looking, as in it doesn't look like some backyard hobbled up unit. I'm impressed. For a 10Amp 30Volt power supply, this has great performance for the cost.My only concern is the failure of the first unit. Maybe a bad luck sample, but it could also point to quality control issues. The particular sample I have now however performs flawlessly. Should that change, I'll revise this rating. The noise is primarily switching noise about 230mV peaks with 50uS or so period. So about 20KHz switching frequency at no load. I haven't done load testing other than short circuit tests to ensure it delivers the rated current, which it does. For a $60 power supply, the testing I already did tells me it is worth the money. You can do far worse than this and spend more money at the same time. There was no issue returning the faulty unit I initially received so that is a plus and I'd suggest stress testing it to make sure it doesn't have some weird fault if you purchase one. It is rated to provide protection against failures, so test them is my recommendation.

Audible tone can be turned off
The power supply works well so far. I like the button that allows me to turn the output on and off. This makes it easy to power cycle the device I'm working on. The power supply has an audible tone whenever an adjustment is made, but it can be turned off by entering the setup mode. I really like this power supply.
