DONT PAY TO RUIN YOUR WALLS
Hi- first review from someone who wasn’t gifted the item for free. DO NOT purchase this product. The items do not come with instructions and I’m convinced they mislabeled 2/3 jars. The jars themselves are created cheaply to where there is no pull tab to remove the lid but you can see where there should be. First picture is of the primer coat, creates an odd crackle texture and matches the color purchased which leads me to believe this is the “texture” not primer. The “texture” coat is a gross dark gray and provided no texture whatsoever, destroyed what was already there. Devastating results. Please dont waste your money on this overpriced mess, it’s better to buy the real stuff.

Lime wash effect
The wall I used this was originally hot pink. The directions stated I didn’t need primer but I was apprehensive because of the color I had to work with (hot pink). So I only did one coat of primer but wished I did two as the primer that came with this kit is colored but it still showed some pink. So you decide if you need primer with the walls you’re working with. The primer is very thick and definitely needed to be thinned with water and with doing so it made the primer last two coats. FYI it is very messy with the roller so make sure you cover your floors. The next step was sanding. I sanded a bit but in my opinion the 600 grit didn’t do much so I quit since the texture would put more thickness on the walls. Basically hoping the texture would mask the lack of sanding. The texture is also colored and fairly easy to use. I just made sure I didn’t use a regular motion. More like an X and I like how it turned out. I only had enough for two coats of the texture. I used a mud pan and a 6” trowel which I actually liked how easy this was. The process can get a little hard on the arms and I did spill a few spots but I feel both weren’t too bad. After here I sanded. Not a whole lot just enough to get any bumps or clumps out. Then the last thing is the top coat. Dry sponge all over. Though it is a tedious process I enjoy the look. It can be done in a day and the videos out there are very helpful. Anyone can do this. I do wish the kit came with more primer paint and/or if it was already thinned that would be great. The hardest part for me was opening the 2 of the 3 cans (plastic). I think they were supposed to have a perforated pull tab but it didn’t work for me so I had to pop the tops and one time I got paint on the floor because of how it opened. For all of the things you get, this is decently priced. I like that the texture gives the wall depth. The vanilla cream color is very pretty and goes along with the boho theme. There is some smell that I did notice (compared to regular paint). There isn’t directions in the box (each can states step1, step2, step3) but if you look there are videos that are very helpful so don’t be scared to try it. The top coat is a clear wax so fingers crossed it can be washed/wipped clean. I used a clean/dry sponge and it went on easily just used a lot of energy in those circular motions. Whew. I would be super excited if I got another chance to use any of the other Strato products. Great product and definitely not for whose who can’t finish projects but LOVE the ending look!! FYI this is my first time using ANY lime wash texture paint. 1. primer paint 2. Texture 3. Clear wax/finished

Beautiful and Easy
I found this to be a beautiful paint option. Providing soft natural hues. It applied to my walls rather smoothly. It took almost no time to dry. It applied rather quickly with just enough thickness that didn't required a lot of extra. Allowing it to stretch further then what the container would make you think.

Unmarked Cans; No Instructions in Package
I do have my reservations about this stuff as you can see from the headline. I can't find the name of the color, Mauve Chalk, anywhere on the three cans. I marked each one as I unpacked them. I'll be danged if I want to open a can to see what color it is and then guess what it will look like when it is dry. Also, no instructions included. I'm sure I will remember to go back to the sales page (if it still exists) for instructions, but it would be nice if they included them. Nonetheless, I have used similar paint, and these three cans (primer, texture, paint) are what you need to create a textured surface. There are other ways of course, but this is one of the easier ways. I gave it four stars. I wonder if I'm just getting used to buying things with poor labels and/or bad instructions.
