Very impressive Bluetooth DAC with XLR output
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a simple to add high quality Bluetooth input into my audio setup but I did not want to spend a fortune and I believe the B3 is the perfect device for this purposes. Not only does it support high quality bluetooth codecs but crucially for my long term setup it has both RCA and XLR output.While I have allot of audio devices which take RCA input like a Aiyima T1 tube Pre-amp, I am been slowly migrating my setup to XLR over the past year including a Schiit Midgard headphone Amplifier (which has XLR inputs). Since, neither of those devices have Bluetooth and I was looking for a good way to add high quality bluetooth for both devices.Also crucially I wanted to make sure I bought something that would have both high-def bluetooth (so looking for a device with latest specifications including AAC for Apple Devices and LDAC for Android) and optical input from my TV - for me the B3 was the perfect device to sit in the middle this setup.I added some pictures including showing the LDAC codec on my Android Smartphone.I was also impressed that the B3 comes with all the cables you could want and as an added bonus actually does support usb-c DAC input (though that is limited to CD quality - not a bit deal for me as I wasn't originally planning on using it as a PC DAC but it it a nice surprise).Overall, it's hard to critise something this cheap and versatile with so many different connectivity options which as far as I am concerned is built for the future especially with its XLR outputs.
