Surprised it’s so good!
We love the level of creativity this comes with preprogrammed. My son is 6 and he loves his little robot dog and loves to make him dance.

Legs actually move, no wheels involved.
The media could not be loaded. This small puppy (7 inches long, 6 inches wide, 9 inches high) performs many tasks (like sitting, handstand, crouching and more). It also plays music and has illuminated eyes. The rechargeable battery requires the use of a screwdriver; plugging into a usb charging cable, then plugging the battery into the puppy's cable--then closing and screwing the battery door shut (a tight fit).Two things don't meet expectations. Voice instructions hardly work. I placed my head within one foot of the puppy and tried all the commands multiple times, but only got a reaction twice out of more than thirty attempts. The "forward" command on the controller doesn't cause the puppy to move forward. It causes him to slowly slide backwards (see video). This is the same on carpet or hard floors.The "program" command only allows for a one time following of a sequence of instructions. Press the program button, then select a sequence of actions. Press the program button again and the puppy will follow the sequence of actions. This is a one time event since the puppy does not remember the sequence. Press the program button again and nothing happens--back to programming with nothing remembered.For a child under age six, this may be endearing, but I doubt it would hold the interest of older children.

Remote Robot Dog
I got this for my granddaughter, because she said that was what she wanted. She has only played with it twice. She has lost interest already.

very complicated charging
the dog works so far, but the charging process is very complicated. you have to unscrew battery compartment, unplug battery, remove it, connect it to usb plug charger, then install it all back and screw cover back. every time you need to charge it. very not user friendly. plus its probably going to break after a month of use.. 3 stars off just for that.

My daughter absolutely loves it!
It does a bunch of tricks and I love that it has volume control settings. Super cute little robot dog
