Precision in pocket
I just received this Cube Laser Measuring Tool and the build quality is impressive in itself out of the box. It has a smaller footprint than the larger options and can fit easily in a pocket, however, it still feels quite durable and of good quality. I trust it will perform well. The distance of 164ft and the listed accuracy specs verify what I need for my projects. The rechargeable battery is particularly appealing. It should provide greater ease of use. Taking quick and accurate measurements should be a simplified task now. I will put this to the test soon and will update the review with how it performs.

Handy and Accurate Laser Measure
I recently got this laser measurement tool, and I am thoroughly impressed. It took me a short while to get used to the features, but once I did, it became incredibly easy to use. The battery life is exceptional; even after a couple of weeks of frequent use, it still holds a charge well. The accuracy of the measurements is spot on, which is critical for my woodworking projects. The compact design means I can easily carry it around in my pocket or tool belt, making it a convenient companion on job sites. The touchscreen display is bright and responsive, and I appreciate the intuitive UI. The additional features like measuring Distance, Area, Volume, and Pythagorean Height add a lot of value. The digital bubble level is a neat addition and works accurately. One of the standout features for me is the trig function, which simplifies complex measurements without needing a separate calculator. Just aim, measure, and you're done. It's a fantastic time-saver. Overall, this laser measure has become an essential part of my toolkit. If you’re looking for a reliable and portable measuring device, I highly recommend giving this one a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Distance Measuring Tool (laser)
Worked really nicely to build custom shelving in our closet. Very quickly was able to determine the closet was not a perfect rectangle and had some slight angles to take into consideration. Compact and easy to use! I can see it being useful for a contractor as it can basically fit in your pocket! The measurements are very accurate!!

Accuracy concern
Indirect measurement is not accurate at all

must have
So cool. Wish I had this when we were taking measurements for our remodel. It's really just point and click, got my measurement. Then the app ever lets you point, click, map it out. So cool. Worth the money, especially if you don't always have a second hand to help

Seemingky good product but found a deal breaker mistake
I had high hopes for this item and it still may redeem itself after a resolution with the manufacturer whom I am reaching out to next. I purchased the main unit and the scale roller and bilateral laser modules. The were inaccurate so I returned and replaced them. I received the new units and the measurements were correct, but the Meazor app tells you the firmware needs to be updated. After doing the update, the measurements are wrong again and pressing the measure button on the main unit sometimes takes a few presses to activate the measurement. These are the same problems the first unit had but I didn't know it was the firmware the first time around because I updated the unit the moment I took it out of the box. For the replacement unit, I was smart enough to measure before updating the firmware. Once I saw it worked fine, I updated the firmware and then all went downhill. The manufacturer needs to fix the firmware or there also needs to be a way to revert the firmware so I can use this thing. Otherwise, back it goes again. I'll try another replacement but DON'T update the firmware until someone can indicate it works properly!!

Very convenient and comes with trig functions
I got this for 2 reasons, one is to flex on my friends and 2nd is to use it to measure when wood working. Sometimes I work on little projects and needed something that quick and easy to use for measuring more than a foot. This does the job well. I was a bit skeptical of its accuracy but I pulled a ruler out and measured one foot and it was spot on. What I really like though is the trig function. Normally you gotta do this on a calculator but this does it all for you. You just aim at the bottom of wall and angle it toward top of the wall and it tells you the height. Battery life on this seeems good. I’ve been messing around with it for over week and still has over 50% battery. What matters most with this thing though is that it is convenient and accurate and does it good on both of those.

Fancy, but not terribly useful
Feels good in the hand. Small. Recharges quickly. Screen is clearly readable. That's the positives out of the way. Fundamentally, this device must be able to measure distance accurately. But as others have pointed out, it's a bit off the mark. By comparison against a competitor and a humble measuring tape, I found this device to be off by about 10 mm, erring too long. That's more than a quarter of an inch. While it does have a calibration slider in its settings menu, the value can't go high enough to offset the error. The other thing is that a touch-screen measuring device sounds nice in theory, and the number of options and functions this device offers are quite nifty. But the touch-screen responsiveness is slow, so you find yourself having to exercise patience navigating the menus. The lack of buttons becomes a bug, not a feature. The app that pairs with this device is also a little rough around the edges. The Meazor app does let you check for firmware updates. But it doesn't actively communicate with the M-Cube while trying to measure a room. You have to create the room by hand in the Meazor app, then "push" the length measurement to the app with a button on the M-Cube. It's pretty crude. Note that I did not evaluate any of its other functions besides simple length.

I bought this to use instead of tape measures, which can be awkward over longer distances when working alone (folding on themselves etc). I find the basic functions (distance measurement, volume and area calculations etc) to be excellent. Quick and very accurate. I have dropped it a couple of times and it hasn’t fallen apart, it seems quite robust. Overall, I do consider it very good value for money and I’m very happy with this purchase.

This tiny device is amazing. It measures, as well as finding angles and calculating volumes. It can also connect to other modules for enhanced features. It uses a green laser, which is bright and can measure much further than my old one. The screen is a touchscreen and it pretty responsive. Usage is straightforward, and you can set it to measure from the front, or rear of the cube. It also connects to a phone using Bluetooth and transfers measurements directly onto drawn plans (using the mezor app). Charging is straightforward using the enclosed USB-C cable, with a charging light on the front of the cube. Everything works really well. It isn't cheap at £109 (at the time of review) but it is a quality package that is definitely useful.

Instructions woefully inadequate, spent half the evening trying to work out how it works, with the use of chat gpt, and got nowhere. Should have bought a £15 version which basically does the same thing given how complicated it is to use the features this product claims to have. Avoid.
