A lot of people have commented on the heat that these produce - we had them on for about 4 hours and didn’t have much of an issue. Are they hot to the touch? Yes. Are they hotter than a hair tool? No. At no point did we worry about anything melting around them. They did an amazing job lighting out space, even in the time before the sun had set. Photo is from well after it was dark outside and they worked amazing. We had 3 lights focused on a 20x20ish area and it was great. The some of the light even spilled over into the rest of that open concept room (another 20x20ish area) and lit that up pretty well. Super happy with the purchase. The only complaint is that the power cord is pretty short, and since the lights are so bright we wanted to keep them up high above eye level, so we had to use a few 3-prong extension cords (of course, not the convenient 2-prong ones that we have laying around everywhere).

Purchased these to fill a huge room, they succeeded. No complaints about the lights. Glad it didn't get anything brighter or less bright. The one warning I would give is they get hot, so be careful when handling.

Good quality and really bright

I got the 200w 2 pack. These worked perfect for our Glow party. I wanted the bar (standard 2 car detached garage) full of black light and they did not disappoint. Mission accomplished. They do get hot and quick.

Yes, they are quite bright but they are NOT 500W each. On a known accurate wattmeter (I work in the electric field), they only consume 378 watts (3.52A/0.9kWh@122V) COMBINED.

We use these for a trap shooting at night. It’s been a fun little change up. This is what it does in the hallway at my house. Out in the field it will light up a target for about 75 to 80 feet beyond that it gets a little hard harder to see.
