Bought a 2-pack of these. I only had a single monitor and HDMI connectivity through a 4-port switching unit. The systems I had to perform work on only had display port adapters. These tiny, inexpensive units, did a great job converting from display port to HDMI, no issues whatsoever encountered. They're small, plug right in, look good - not some bizarre color, and appear to be quality builds. I'd recommend them if you've gotta switch from display port to HDMI - direct to monitor or via an HDMI switching.

These have been working fine allowiing my computer with DP video out to run an HDMI monitor.The price is right too!

I recently purchased this because I needed an adapter for my monitor to connect to my dock. It works flawlessly. It connected, and everything seemed to be in order. There was no glitching and no color issues on either of my monitors. My only problem with this is I needed both of them to be side-by-side; however, they were too big to fit. I had to purchase an additional component that was smaller for me to use. If you do not need something side-by-side, this is great to use for a small adapter; however, if, like me, you need them side-by-side, this is not an excellent product for that.

These work great. Not much to say. I plugged them in and they haven't given any sorts of problems. That's a win in my book.The only thing is that it may not be suitable for you application since it sticks straight out vs some others that have a cable between the display port and HDMI connectors.

product doesn't work as advertised.

These adapters are awesome. I used this adapter up to an old small form factor dell office PC that I put a cheap 4gb low profile graphics card in to use as a home theater/multi media PC. I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed audio was working through the HDMI connection! It's giving me full 5.1ch to my TV and then I use an optical sound cable from the TV to my stereo receiver. I have used other display port to HDMI cables or adapters that don't support audio as well. It can depend on your PC/laptop/graphics card output or the HDMI cable you're using as well. Make sure you get an HDMI arc cable that can support it because I noticed the audio doesn't work with an older HDMI cable that I have. This is the best deal on amazon right now and I prefer these adapters to display port to HDMI cables because you can use any length HDMI cable and they support full 5.1 Dolby audio.
