Draper DRA23201 Hose Coupling Adaptor, Blue, 50 mm

Does what it says on the tin, ideal for connecting 1" flat hose etc I would advise popping a bit of glue on the rubber washer as it does have a tendancy to want to fall out when disconnected but otherwise its fine and leak free connection.

Easy to use. Perfect for my pump. Only problem is keeping track of the sealing ring when decoupled under pressure.

Good product. Used with lay-flat hose. Rubber seal rings fall-out easily if not made-up so are easily lost. Can't just use an o-ring to replace if lost as they are pretty thick seals.

I purchased this to join 2 25mm plastic pipes together. The unit fits the pipes perfectly but I didn't realise that it unclipped in the middle. The problem is that it only takes a simple quarter turn to connect or disconnect the join, so if either pipe moves slightly it easily disconnects itself. It also tends to leak on the joint. I ended up reordering a solid fixed join.

Good product. no leaks, but be careful not to lose the rubber seal as it can drop out when roll the hose up. Good value.

Good quality & did the job of connecting hose to diesel-powdered water pump extremely well. Would definitely recommend.

I bought these to join two sections of hose to a sump pump which I bought for periods of particularly heavy rain when my garage is prone to flood. I found the rubber washer inside each unit tended to fall out and the unit then becomes too slack to work without water spewing out. (I tried the setup on black decking which did not help). In my opinion they would be no use for regular use but now I know what to look out for I suppose they will be alright to use as and when. Not the standard I expected from the brand and I will keep an eye open for something better, after all the last thing you need in a crisis is for preparations to fail - particularly for want of a washer.

Quick n easy to use and ideal for the job of pumping out flood water.
