Camper van
I bought this 12V Cello TV for my camper van and I’m very impressed. The graphics and picture quality are sharp and clear. It was very easy to set up, especially connecting it with my mobile phone. The sound is clear and well balanced. Perfect TV for van life and off-grid use.

Good little TV once you get it set up
What prompted this purchase was the demise of a less than two year old Sniper TV. I was searching for something a bit more mainstream and reliable. Cello are part of the LG group and for the price produce really good quality TVs. This one seems to be no exception as far as picture quality is concerned. The sound is okay but, because of the limitations of such small speakers, could do with a bit more bass. The sound variations are limited to the usual standard, Cinema, clear voice, etc. A soundbar is on offer from Cello which would go a long way to addressing this. The screen is in a widescreen format and frameless which gives a titchy overall appearance. The only assembly required is to fit the metal, and surprisingly heavy, stand. Which brings me to my first gripe. The fitting is straightforward. A location pin and three predrilled screw holes. I'm not sure if they are intentionally undersized, requiring a sort of self tapping with the screws, but they do take a little effort. I was concerned at one point whether I might split the case, such was the force required. But all was well. I tend to treat electricals carefully in any case but it is well to be warned what to expect. It is almost required that you open an LG account to make use of all the facilities on offer. This took a little effort as they were not keen to send out a verification number to me. But there are a number of other options to getting through the registration process. I went with Google and that was fairly straightforward. The setup menu has a voice assistant in addition to the visual menu and this is on by default. The speed of presentation makes it almost unintelligible but it is easily deleted. There are a number of preinstalled apps, at least the logos are there, and setting up is straightforward. You can arrange them in whatever order is best for you and unneeded ones are easy to remove. So far so good and we are looking forward to seeing how this works out in the 'van.

Much better than expected.
Bought this for my bedroom, delighted with it. The picture and sound are much better than my more expensive one for the lounge. I also bought the DVD player to go with it, works perfectly with the TV, couldn’t be more pleased. Positive bonus is that both products are British made.

Super little TV
Great little TV. Nice and light and works perfectly in our camper. Sound is perfectly adequate for the size of the van. Great value for money

Cello travel tv.
Arrived safe but when turned on had two vivid vertical fault lines down the screen to it’s been packaged to go back. Very disappointing.

Excellent Tv for Motorhome, easy set up and great picture, sound is fine for me in Motorhome. Works perfectly with the hotspot from my phone. Great size and easy to stow away when travelling

Good TV, but casing it quite chunky.
I bought this for a motorhome and wanted this model because it was modern, SMART,and did NOT have a DVD player as many of the Cellos still do. The picture is excellent on HD channels and sound is very satisfactory for such a small TV. Cello also sell a small 12v soundbar which I might consider. Downside is how fat this TV is for a modern device. It really is quite chunky right to the edges of the unit and makes it look a bit old fashioned from the side. So if buying this for a tight space you might want to check the size. Also, I live in northern Ireland, about 12 miles from the border and can watch both UK and Irish channels on my home TV. But with this TV it seems I might need to keep switching the location country settings to get the best of both. If I choose Ireland I get a very limited set of UK channels. If I choose UK I get no Irish channels. I don't think I can get them all at once which is a slight pain. But otherwise it's not a bad TV and I like that it's a UK company and they have a good reputation for 12volt TVs.

Good value for a travel TV
Screen image is good but sound is really very, very good, they have greatly improved on previous models (I have another Cello Traveller TV) the interface on this TV is a mix of Cello tech and LG software, a good compromise as our stand-alone LG TV with a similar interface is MUCH slower to use than this one, annoyingly slow. VERY quirky to swap from TV aerial to Sat aerial, so tricky that they have included a single hurridly produced guide page just to do this one thing - three buttons to press on the remote which is a real pain (I am a tech-savvy person and this was beyond me for quite a while until I finally turned to the box contents). One day they will realise that this is not really practical for most users. Ours was a Amazon return product at a great price and was initially unable to tune Sat signal. Turns out that a factory reset fixed this issue. Optical sound out can work at the same time as the speakers, twin HDMI inputs, 12V lead and mains adaptor included. Comes with a sturdy stand but also has the 4 vesa wall mount captive mount points. If you lose the remote, there are no TV mounted buttons to control it so that would have been a nice thing to include in the next version. Not checked current consumption or bluetooth yet, I would expect a latency delay on the bluetooth audio as Cello told me this was why they used to leave bluetooth off their original traveller TV's. WiFi connected OK, also has wired ethernet. Sotware updates are automatic (same as LG) without hassle. If you want single button auto tuning from the remote you need to buy an AVTEX TV, but this does actually a very good job all round at nearly half the price. One final thing, I have had to phone Cello in the UK previously and found them to be very helpful in supporting their product. Try getting that support from other manufacturers today.
