Vibram Men's Five Fingers, V-Alpha Trail Shoe

Unfortunately I had to send them back as I required a bigger size 10.5 Uk but they didn't have, extremely gutted as they were beautifully made. I hope their customer service sees this and contacts me back with a bigger size as I would buy again.

Over the past decade I have worn 4 or 5 types of vibrams. Sizes may differ very slightly, but nevertheless they all fit and were comfortable. The V-Alpha also fit well but this was the first time upon putting it on for the first 2 times, the heel hurts and caused blisters. Never had such experiences with all the other types of vibrams. One thing I do like is the protection of the soles for walking in trails and on foot path. Personally for daily walks, I do prefer the V-Treks more.

I tried a few other brands including the 5 toe stuff and had almost given up on going barefoot. Then a martial artist friend recommended these. It took me 3-6 months to completely convert. I am stronger, my movement is better, I would never go back.

I bout my first pair in 2010 from a local shoe store. I can buy these and nail the size and type i want without fear. If you don't know this product like I do, get ready to have to return them and accept it. This is a lifestyle-brand product and not meant to be for whimsical purchase. Ive only worn them a handful of times having only recently purchased, but I have put them through an appropriate amount of significantly rough terrain, including fully submerged in a lake; they are performing perfectly. The upper material is more comfortable than my previous pairs. the soles looked and felt cheap when I inspected them out of the box, but they are holding up nicely and have provided a nice compromise between protection/ground feel. Only giving 4 out of 5 because it's too early to tell if they will continue to shine or just fall apart.
