I brought home my third Smart Security Camera the way you buy a third loaf of the same bread—you already know it won’t disappoint, and it’s comforting to stick with a classic. The first two are still out there on duty: one perched under the eave like a quiet sentry, the other staring down the backyard with the calm focus of a retired scoutmaster. One of them has endured five years of weather, rain, wind, the occasional rogue baseball—without so much as clearing its throat. This new one slid into the lineup without drama. Setup was quick, the picture crisp, the motion alerts punctual enough to make you think the thing wears a little wristwatch. No dropped connections, no moody resets, no “please unplug and try again” moments that make you reconsider every life choice leading to this. It just works, every day, in that reliable, unshowy way that makes you appreciate a tool built by people who cared what happened after the sale. Five stars, easily. If steadfastness were a personality trait in surveillance cameras, this model would be the one you’d trust to water your plants, feed your cat, and still keep an eye on the porch.

This iCam has been in operation for 5 days now, and to date I am very happy with the purchase. The package arrived very securely and without any issues. The quality of this camera is evident. Nice product. It works using the online Tuya app, which I love, and use for 12 total cameras located at two different addresses. Setup was very smooth and quick (2 minutes if you already have the Tuya app), just follow the included instructions. Installation is made simple by allowing you to affix it to a vertical or horizontal position. It includes a wired power supply that plugs in to a standard outlet. The images that it captures are remarkably clear and vivid, and quite detailed, even when you zoom in. The day and night modes are great, night IR mode allows you to see about 60 feet out. I inserted one of my mini chips to test the on-board recording capabilities, it works just fine very useful. All-in-all, I would recommend this camera, it seems to be well thought out, and well built, and the Tuya app is tremendous.

Update 3 years+ Vatilon W51-TY (the OEM) What can I say, this is THE BEST PTZ under $40!!! There are ONVIF compliant, even though it is not mentioned and it does NOT show in the software/firmware. ONVIF credentials Username = admin (lower case) Password = 123456 I don't think you can change it? So, I started out with just the Tuya app on my phone. In the last 3 years I added Ubiquiti Protect, which auto discovers these. I also added a Reolink RLN36 NVR, just add as ONVIF. I have few cameras that I call a "Triple Threat" meaning the camera will work in Tuya/Smartlife, Ubiquiti Protect, and Reolink NVR at the same time. This camera does it, and never fails. I wish you didn't need a PoE splitter, but at this price... I also wish they had a 4k version, and a way to setup ONVIF password. But for this price, and the reliability, impossible to beat. Still loving you :) A+, works great, I'm running mine using an ethernet cable because it's too far from my wifi. My old house has thick brick walls, so I'm pleased I can use a cable instead Not sure if it's PoE or not. Picture and recording are great, I will get another. This is a good non 4k Tuya camera. Update 6 mos. Later. Still going strong. Not PoE BUT you can buy a PoE splitter and make them PoE. All still working great. I have them in Smartlife app and my Ubiquiti Protect NVR using ONVIF. Not 4k, but good picture, more like 3k resolution.

I had a Voger brand camera with basically the same features as this one. It seemed to be a little bit better camera, but not by much. This camera has all the features I was looking for and at a very good price-point. I didn't have much issue getting it setup in the TUYA app with my other cameras and got it installed rather quickly. For the money, you can't go wrong with this one. I would buy again.

Had an issue with the initial camera and it was immediately addressed. When a company stands behind their product they earn my respect and continued patronage. Image and sound quality is superb and I have since added several more. So far my oldest one is more than a year old and survived a brutal arctic condition winter.

It is a good camera for the money, I installed outside exposed to salt water which I think is a killer for almost anything so time will tell how long it will last, I will post an update at the time of its demise, I have had it for 2 months and still working well. I use it to monitor my boat on my boat lift. It does everything it claims to do. I bought it thinking it will work with Ewelink App but it does not or at least I could not make it work, so you will have to download another app to watch your camera Like anything made in China I do not have high expectations but I gave it a chance.

Love this Camera, setup was easy, video is quality great. The tilt, zoom, connectivity, functionality and features were so wonderful, the only thing I hate is it doesnt works with Google and Alexa seller remove that from the listing!

We love our security cameras! We purchased this one and a solar powered one for the driveway. Installation was easy (we are seniors) and we were quite surprised with how easy the software is to use. Our camera sits over the doors on our outdoor building (garage/barn), the clarity is amazing. When we add more cameras to our system, we will definitely purchase through this seller. Items arrived well packed and quickly. We love that it is so customizable too, from the area to be alerted, to how we receive our alerts. My favorite part is being able to review, I've gone back 18+ hrs and been able to watch the video (from my phone). Also love the ability to zoom in on recording and when live! Just love it!
