Healthy AND tasty!
It isn't often you can combine favor enjoyment and good health, but dark chocolate is one of those things that is actually good for you-at least in moderation. Not only that, I was extremely impressed on this hot day that when the bars arrived, they were shipped transported in an insulated cooler box with ice inserts! I'd been afraid they'd be all melted, but they are in great shape.

Very good chocolate
There may be better quality, chocolate out there, but for the price these are very good chocolates. Not bitter, just a little darker than milk chocolate. Just one after dinner satisfies my need for something sweet. I try to keep my carbs relatively low.

Safer choice
From what I've read there is less lead and less cadmium than other chocolates. This is my favorite, although it has become harder to find in my local stores. I love dark chocolate and 72% cacao is my limit. Others with a higher percentage taste bitter.

Lead free dark chocolate..love it!
I eat a very small bit of dark chocolate every day...I choose Ghiradelli because it's lead free!

My Favorite Dark Chocolate Indulgence (But These Taste 'Off')
I have tried every 'percentage' of Ghirardelli's dark chocolate. This 72% version seems to be the 'sweet, but not too sweet' spot. Anything higher is too bitter, and anything lower is too sweet. These arrived two days late (like many of my recent Amazon purchases lately) but Amazon did pack it in a 'cold' box that was insulated. It's been over 90 degrees Fahrenheit this past week in my area. The bars were *very* flexible when they arrived, but not 'melted' into oblivion. I think the would have been whole / hard if they had arrived on time, and if it hadn't been so hot and humid this week. Also, in the melting & re-hardening process, these lost their flavor.
