Plaud Is Life Changing!! Like a lot of people I bought Plaud in a recent Prime Day promotion as I wanted to see if it would help me in meetings. Nothing special in that I hear you say. But there’s the rub. I can’t hear everything that is said in meetings as I am deaf and wear hearing aids. I attended a meeting late evening. I was tired and I knew I was not picking everything up. But I tried out my Plaud Note in the wild for the first time. And I was blown away. The upload of the recording and making it into a summary of the meeting is just fantastic. Wow!! For deaf people this is an absolute game changer. It picked up everything. Now my issue is that Plaud has just gone and released the snazzy new Plaud Pro. Will I pre order it? You can bet your boots i will. I now consider it as important as my hearing aids. AI is a game changer in recording voice notes. I am still learning the ropes of using the Plaud Note. But wow. I am stunned. The Plaud Note Pro will raise the bar even higher.

Great product, especially now you go online as well as the app. I had an issue almost to the day of the warranty expiry, but everything was sorted, no hassle, and a new Note. I think the battery had died. Customer service were extremely quick to answers emails, I mean really quick and would follow up if I'd not replied! I have the Pin too, which I use more now for meetings, and the Note for calls.

Its pretty good. I have cognitive issues with working memory and the device itself is a game changer. It has literally improved my day to day life helping me record and summerise thoughts and conversations. I would give 5 stars but the plastic wrist strap that i bought at an additional £19.99 is poor quality and should in my opinion be included when you buy the device. I say device in my own case I found it so useful that I have the Note and Note pin hence the wrist strap. Both devices function extremely well in different environments. The yearly cost is prohibitive and I imagine Apple or Samsung devices like watches and phones will probably included this functionality as standard soon if not already. For me its a great product but plaud need to look at the quality of the accessories and fine tune the yearly fees. There should be options for business users, disabled users, student users with different discounts available. Also a monthly recurring model would be less prohibitive than the current pay a full year in advance offer.

Completely changed my day to day working life for the better. These are a game changer. I don't use that phrase often, as so many people over use it. However it really is. I'm a lousy note/minute taker and my handwriting's not the best either. This takes all the minutes and audio transcript, types it all up, with timelines and action lists for each person, it'll even do a road map! Let's me concentrate on listening and talking, rather than trying to type up notes at the same time as reading my own, simultaneously! So portable, battery last days, so versatile and can be mag safe-d to the back of the phone too. My only regret is that I didn't discover this earlier. I'd say it's really good value with a good range of price points for the recordings etc depending how much you use it. For anyone who has lots of meetings, zoom, teams or in person, this is for you. You can record to do lists, write a novel, do a survey, whatever it types it all up!

Predatory upsell tactics. After small usage, recording one single interview, it attempts to upsell to a £229/yr (only payable annually) "unlimited plan". And you can't use the damn thing for a month unless you do. So you have to pay +50% more than the hardware itself to continue using. It's very predatory, I was a little stunned. If you go to the website, which the app does not encourage, there is a more limited plan and it is available monthly - but that's £17.99/m which is way too high for what this is. Versus a little trick in your iPhone Notes where you click attachments and can start a voice recording - which automatically transcribes as you record. Copy/paste that transcription in Chat GPT and ask for a summary = free. I only looked because this predatory thing annoyed me so much and that's what I'll be doing instead of this chancer of a device. Yes you miss out on their "template library" but really how many templates do you need? One Chat GPT prompt let's be honest. This is actually quicker than faffing around with transferring files to apps and so on with Plaud and what I'll be doing. I'd have gone for it just for ease at £5-8 monthly - charged monthly. But they got greedy and it's really annoyed me - enough to waste my time writing this when there's a whole world out there.... and I've got 2 kids and it's their bedtime and they've got school tomorrow - what am I doing I need to go - goodbye, I hope this helps someone.

This voice recorder is excellent of itself but the transcription is surprisingly accurate. Then the AI summary is quite amazing. It is staggering how it manages to identify key facts and then format them in a coherent manner - even from a seemingly incoherent stream. of thought! The battery seems to last for a goodly length of time and the ease of storage in its own holder magnetically attached to the iPhone is fantastic. The software for transcription etc is easily downloaded and seems to work without fuss. An excellent purchase.

I use it every day in work. Brilliant. No complaints. After I bought it I saw a lot of negative reviews and YouTube videos but this is now 5/5 essential kit

J'ai récemment fait l'acquisition du Plaud Note et je suis absolument ravi de mon achat ! Ce qui m'a d'abord séduit, c'est sa taille incroyablement compacte, le rendant extrêmement pratique à transporter au quotidien. Mais la véritable surprise vient de la qualité des enregistrements vocaux. Même dans des environnements relativement bruyants, la clarté et la netteté du son sont impressionnantes. On entend parfaitement les voix, ce qui est essentiel pour une utilisation efficace. Enfin, je suis bluffé par la précision de la transcription. Le texte retranscrit est d'une exactitude remarquable, me faisant gagner un temps précieux. Je le recommande vivement!

Was excited to get this yesterday. It is compact then I imagined. Tried my first meeti g today and was amazing. For a person who does oine meeting this great on how it summarizes meeting. The magnetic case also is sleek and handy and sits well on my Ultra phone.

I was sceptical about this but I was wrong. Please note: I am an Android user and I reviewed it base on Android app only. I only did 9 recordings so far. But all the recording results are excellent. Ten things I like about it. 1. It transcript everything for me and quite accurate as well, saved me so much time from typing while interviewing people or listening to lectures. 2. It gives good summary, although not always accurate but I did say 95% correct for my use. 3. It is very small! So small that I think nobody will see it if you put it behind your phone and place the phone on the meeting table. 4. You can record it without opening the app from your phone. Make it much faster to record and much more discreet. 5. The UI is super simple to use. 6. Easy to set up 7. The battery is pretty long 8. It came with a pouch! 9. It also understood people accent well as well. which is awesome. 10. 3months free Pro plan to explore what Pro features may have. Things I wish they can improve on. 1. Make the "Device" tab as a part of the navigation menu. It is a bit hard to check the device battery when you need to click 3 times deep inside the menu. 2. I wish the first tab alway set to be Transcript as you need to transcript first before you can Summarise the voice recording. Make it one extra click which is unnecessary. 3. I wish it has usb-c or something common so I can charge it when I forget to bring the charger cable. But again... it's so thin that I think the thickness of the device is only about 2mm taller than the usb-c itself! That is incredibly thin! 4. I wish it can act as a usb drive. 5. Pro plan is a little high. The discounted price (50%) is a lot more affordable. All in all, I am very happy about it so far. I saved me literally hours of typing. This review is too long to type in comparison.
